This spacious, ideally located ocean home offers a stay beyond your imagination. Facilitating several places to relax and seclude yourself. The quiet surroundings & stellar views will easily make for a relaxing stay. Considering the facilities of this place we host lots of honeymooners. This wonderful Villa Bamboo has a spacious living room and outdoor deck, a charmingly petit kitchen and a bedroom fit for a king and queen.

Facilitated with Netflix and Apple TV, you have access to some great apps.
The kitchen features a full size refrigerator, oven and microwave.

We have provided teas, coffee and water on arrival, that’s left for you to do is relax and settle in after your journey. Or if you prefer, you can enjoy a refreshing shower, we have stocked the bathrooms with gentle French toiletries.
You will meet my sister Sarah or her partner Vincent on arrival. Should you require anything, they live nearby. Bamboo is our family property so we can guarantee a prsonalised and customized experience! Sarah works in a travel agency, she can advise you on flights to St Barths and car rentals. The villa is a private villa so therefore everything is for the enjoyment of the guests.
The neighborhood
Saint Barthélemy is a pearl of the Antilles in the Caribbean Sea, it is possibly the chicest island in the Caribbean mixed with European sophistication. From boutique hotels, mega yachts, luxury-label shopping and plenty of private villas to nude beaches like Saline Beach or lively beach strips filled with restaurants like St Jean. The Silky-soft white sand beaches lend themselves to water sports, from windsurfing, scuba-diving and snorkeling to jet-skiing, sailing and deep-sea fishing.
We doubt you will encounter a better deal for what we have to offer. The surroundings, the extra services as well as the beautiful location will guarantee a great Villa Bamboo experience. **Sept 2024 update: a new property is being built in the land behind us. The construction has just started and there is potential for noise during the day. When this happened a few years ago, the impact on guests were limited as most guests are out and about exploring the island during the day and will come home to relax when the construction has stopped for the day.
*January 2025, most guests have not experienced too much nuisance and still enjoyed their stay in the villa. The construction is expected to continue at least until August 2025. Our prices have been reduced to factor the potential noise.

Summary: Villa Bamboo felt like the perfect combination of comfort, beauty and privacy. The villa is very nicely appointed, spotlessly clean, has stunning views, and offers complete privacy to enjoy the pool & sunsets. Hostess Sarah lives right next door and is super responsive and available but never once intruded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Summary: Very much like in photographs. The view is Beautiful & the Villa was clean and well equipped. The bed is Very comfortable and linens are soft. The owner was available and receptive to any our needs. The pool was clean and well maintained. Would absolutely stay at Villa Bamboo again. Can’t wait to come back!

Summary: Overall, this is a very nice property. Pluses: - Beautiful views of Grand Cul de Sac bay and beach - Very private pool area - Nice outdoor features (multiple areas w/lounge chairs, motorized sun shade) - Communicative, helpful owners - Walkable to Grand Cul de Sac beach and restaurants Minuses: Nothing really the owners could do, but a couple of things to consider: - If you want to take a taxi to dinner, we found it difficult to arrange and quite expensive (€100+, round trip to St. Jean or Gustavia). We finally found Ben (+590 690 66 13 48) who was very good. If you don’t mind driving after dark or drinks, then it’s not a problem. - Mosquitoes / no-see-ums can be a problem. I didn’t get bit, but my wife, who is more susceptible to mosquitoes, did. Mosquito repellent is a must if you tend to get bit. - Don’t leave any food out anywhere as we saw some ants. Use ziploc bags or put in fridge.

Summary: This was our 2nd visit to St. Bart's and 2nd stay at Villa Bamboo in two years and it is perfect for us in every way. Every day on the island was an adventure for us and we love the villa and the breath-taking sounds and sights. The villa is very well laid out, very relaxing, very private, and quiet and has gorgeous views of Grand Cul de Sac and the sea. While I never return to the same place in my travels because there is lots to see and explore in the world, once you have found the perfect place, it is hard not to return. David and Sarah are both great and we are grateful to them for making the villa available. Thank you, David and Sarah!

Summary: We just completed a wonderful 3 week stay at Villa Bamboo. Our 30th trip to SB. VB was perfect for the 2 of us. Private and quiet. Daily walks down the hill to the beach at Grand Cul de Sac. Beautiful view. Great breezes. Weekly maid, twice weekly pool man, gardener trimming pushes to enhance view and mosquito spraying all were welcome touches. Can’t wait to return!
