Positive: The location is great, walking by distance to central attractions and Stalin Park. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a range of breakfast options.

Negative: I wasn’t able to get the washing machine to work even though I had Alipay, would be better if the machines didn’t require an app to work. The rooms are set at 26 degrees which wasn’t far too warm- the hotel cant fix this but they did supply a fan.

Negative: - overall lighting in the room, lift area, corridor are dark - cigarettes smells on the towel, bed linen, corridor and room despite we ordered a non smoking room. Perhaps there are other customers smoking in their room with the central air conditioning on. - bad smells on the pillows and we have to ask for a changes - room size is rather small and not a great view lookout from the room - we have stayed in Harbin for 4 nights and have tried other hotel which we found have better value and condition than Fairfield Marriott Harbin
