Positive: Breakfast was expansive and good. The ability to store luggage while you tour the city was an added bonus. The people at the front desk also gave us an early check-in at 12 PM which was amazing. Due to its central location - uber/lyft rides are always under $10 to nearby hotspots which is great.
Negative: The location feels a bit unsafe at night. But, the inside of the hotel was good. I would suggest changing the color of the lights in the elevator - it is currently super gloomy and dark.
Summary: A value for money stay.

Positive: our room was nice and clean the staff was great. It was nice to have buffet style breakfast. I appreciated the generous bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner as well as the hair dryer. I appreciated the mini fridge and microwave.
Negative: I was under the impression there was a parking lot free of charge and you could valet if you wanted. I found out the valet was required at a cost of $60 per night. I wish I would have know this prior to booking. I may have chosen another facility. I did appriciate having the breakfast available but the food was not hot even though we arrived precisely at 7am (the start of breakfast on the weekend). The coffee was also luke warm and by the time I added the cold creamer my coffee was cold
Summary: Overall we were very satisfied. The things that mattered the most met expectations!

Positive: Excellent staff. After a horrible experience getting to DC (delays, cancellations), arriving at the Fairfield hotel the staff was very helpful. My partner and I were very appreciative of them and grateful.

Positive: Polite staff, friendly. The hotel was clean. My room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the big screen TV. The valet staff was friendly as well.
Negative: The breakfast had long lines, so we were unable to eat. I'm a little disappointed about that. The valet parking was a little expensive. The water pressure in the shower was not good, and the water did not get hot enough.
