4 Bedroom House in Pioneer Trail, South Lake Tahoe

This large split-level home accommodates a family of 8 and offers a large open great room combining the living room, fully stocked kitchen and dining room. Four miles from the slopes at Heavenly and surrounded by trees in a quiet neighborhood, you'll access hiking trails just off the back yard, or enjoy the private hot tub.
This home has comfortable sleeping & dining for a family of 8. It cannot host more than 8 people over the age of 5. This applies 24/7.

The modern kitchen will make the chef in you smile. It is fully stocked w/ quality cooking gear, and you’ll always be part of the conversation w/ a kitchen open to the family gathering area. The large dining table seats 8, plus there’s additional seating for 3 at the bar. The living room has plenty of space to gather round the fireplace & large HDTV with Cable and Netflix, a comfy sofa & overstuffed chairs, a desk, desk chair, & printer. There is so much to love about this home.
The split level homes features an upstairs living space w/ fireplace and a 75" HDTV, kitchen with brand new bar seating, new ceiling fan over the living room, dining area, and a great balcony w/ BBQ for relaxing & grilling. Upstairs you will also find the master bedroom with a king bed. The master suite features a 48" Smart Streaming HDTV, and an attached bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower.
There are 3 bedrooms downstairs. The kids' bunk room has a full-over-queen bunk bed and features a foosball table, and 43" TV. This room has a sliding glass door to the ground-level deck with a covered hot tub and a backyard that is fully fenced for the kids or dogs to play. The two other downstairs bedrooms both feature queen beds. The shared downstairs bath is nicely appointed with a tub/shower enclosure.
The home is surrounded by trees in a quiet neighborhood. You can walk right out the back yard for miles of trails for hiking, biking, or snow shoeing. Skiing is just 4 miles to Heavenly Resort and 12 mi to Sierra at Tahoe. Rent an SUP or Kayak at Lakeview Commons, a beautiful beach just 3 mi down the hill. As for the night life--Stateline is just 4 mi away. There is parking for 4 cars max - 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway.

Pets: 1-2 dogs allowed w/ pre-approval. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).

Summary: The house is exactly as advertised. My family of four was joined by another family of three for a short visit at the start of our kids’ February break. This was our dog’s first trip to the snow, and she loved it. The backyard is spacious, and is easily accessed through the side door of the garage. This makes the garage the perfect spot to wipe off paws and hang up the leash before heading inside. The hosts provided dog bowls, a lint roller, and poop bags to welcome us, which was very thoughtful. The gate at the back fence opens onto a public trail, and my dog and I walked almost two miles every day through the beautiful trees. For the humans, there was a welcoming open space for cooking, playing cards, having a glass of wine, and nearly completing one of the many puzzles (pieces were missing but a note let us know ahead of time). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked. I have been to many rentals where each bathroom only has one roll of TP, and you have to go buy more. This was not the case here. The hot tub was enjoyed by the teeenagers, and was clean. For the cooks, the kitchen is great! Lots of room, and nice appliances, including a double oven. You’ve got access to a waffle iron, crockpot, hand mixer, and more. Heavenly is a short drive away, as is the grocery store. The neighborhood is cute and quiet. I hope we are able to stay here again! It was exactly what we needed.

My heart was so full as soon as we stepped into our rental seeing the wonderful note left by RNR and gifts from the owners and to top it off, the lit up christmas tree! My family and I love the holidays, so this made our eyes lit up and even more happy and excited for our stay. This cabin was clean, had tons of amenities, comfortable and cozy with wonderful views of the snow in the backyard. It was more than what we expected and was the best experience and stay to kick start our holidays festivities for the 2024 season. I can't wait to be back again!

Summary: We had a great stay at the property on Pioneer Trail. There was plenty of room for everyone and the great room was perfect for all of us to hang out and play games. We definitely appreciated all the extras. The supplies for the dog, the games, fully equipped kitchen and the comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone coming to Tahoe and we are also planning to stay here again.
