Summary: Cozy and welcoming. Has everything you need. Pool and sauna close by and a big plus. A little tight to get to the car unloading space in front of the house with the car, parking lot is a few minutes walking distance (up/downhill). Not suitable if you have mobility issues (steps to and in the house).

Summary: this chalet has an unobstructed, absolutely magnificent view of the Dachstein peaks. We easily forget the presence of other chalets nearby. All the necessary equipment is there, and it is skilfully designed so that the rest, dining and relaxation areas each have their own autonomy. We discovered this chalet this summer. I imagine it must be great to come and ski there. Many thanks to Espen.

Summary: It’s a nice cabin with 3 bedrooms (2 double bedrooms and one bedroom with bunk beds sufficient for five children/teenagers) surrounded by other similar cabins with wonderful views. There is a beautiful terrace facing the mountains. Ideal for hiking in summer. Even though the area may seem a bit crowded (quite a few cabins located on the slope), it is well designed and tenants do not disturb each other. The communal pool for residents is certainly a plus. The cabin was spotless clean, fully equipped (there is also a nespresso machine in the kitchen, well done landlords!), with kitchen/dining/living area and one bathroom located on the ground floor and three bedrooms and second bathroom located on the first floor. We really enjoyed our time in Dachstein, will be back!

Summary: Nice and cosy chalet near the slope that gets you directly to the gondel and into the west Dachstein area. Skiing back (almost directly) to the house was possible, but only with enough snow and for more experienced skiers. Walking was also an option, it is not far but a bit slippery at some points. No problem for us. Kitchen was well-equipped, two good bathrooms, nice dining area. Beds are good, tiny bedroom with bunk beds is fine, especially for kids.

Summary: The house was perfect for what we were looking for-- a location in the middle of the alps with great views all around with access to amazing hiking in all directions. The owners were flexible in letting us push the capacity when a third family decided to join our vacation which was really appreciated. There is a great kitchen/dining area with amazing views all around which is surrounded by a deck where you can grill and eat outside as well. The bedrooms were clean and had large beds-- they are primarily for sleeping, not views. The one draw back was that the gas fireplace was out-of-order but since it was the middle of August there was really only one day that we wished it was up and running. There was a hint of gas from the boiler in the kitchen that should perhaps be looked at with the fireplace. Checkin was fine, but there was a last minute security deposit of EUR 150 for the property. I think they might have tacked it on because they were concerned about the number of kids we had, but we received it back at the end without any problem. The village also has an indoor pool which was great for the kids. The sauna which is advertised with the property was out of order due to a fire. There was not date provided for when it would be back in service. Overall-- this is great value for location. Super times for us-- we'll definitely consider going back again.

Summary: Fantastic view of the mountains and only 200 meters walk from the slopes. If the sun was on the terrace in the afternoon it would be 4 stars. 5 Stars would be on the slope.

Summary: Staying in Dachstein Lodge, was like a home from home. Beautifully furnished, well-equipped and very comfortable. The chalet was very private with fantastic views of the Salzburger Dolomiten from the main balcony, just off the sitting/dining area and from the smaller balcony off the bedrooms. We could walk directly from the chalet on a number of relaxing and challenging walks, and also to a local restaurant for an excellent, good value dinner. The area around has lots to offer, and we only wish that we could have stayed longer to explore more. Thanks very much for a fantastic holiday.
