2 Bedroom Condo in Lake Placid

This very desirable "walk in / out, no steps" 2 bedroom condo is situated on the beautiful Whiteface Club & Resort property overlooking Lake Placid and perfect for a family vacation. It has a very comfortable queen bed in the master BR, 2 twin beds and bunk beds in the other plus a sleeper sofa in the LR. There are TVs in both BR's plus the living room, hand stenciled ADK themed borders and Olympic prints. Two large themed full bathrooms (pine cones & oak leaves), a fully equipped kitchen and a very cozy living room with a fireplace (we supply the wood), perfect for relaxing and with stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. ADK furniture and plush carpeting with hand picked ADK decorations throughout. An open dining area that seats 6 leads to our deck with GREAT views of Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain and the Sentinal Range. You can see the bobsled & luge tracks plus the moon and sunrise from it too. Wireless internet, an HD TV, 40 DVDs, 20 board games & many jigsaw puzzles for family fun. Easy walk-in access from private parking to this peaceful yet centrally located retreat. Perfect for young children or seniors!
We are 5 minutes to town but with hiking, boating / marina, swimming, golf and tennis on site as well as cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter months .There are 2 great restaurants on-site, the Moose Lodge Boathouse (summer only) with a marina, small beach and gorgeous flower gardens plus the ADK Cafe (summer / fall) at the clubhouse. You get 5 free waterfront passes for swimming and to use the beach area in the summer and can walk over the foot bridge to the first tee on the golf course too!
* There are Uber and taxi services available plus a town trolley with a shuttle back and forth to Whiteface Mountain!

Summary: Enjoyed our stay in Lake Placid. The condo had everything we needed and Rudy was very good to work with. We had one minor problem and he was very quick to respond. Our granddaughter participating in the winter luge event which was very exciting to watch. Enjoyed shopping in Lake Placid and the snow was beautiful. If we have to come back again for another event we would definitely stay at Rudy’s condo again.

Summary: First, Rudy was quick to communicate and accommodate. Second, he provided detailed directions and check in information. Third, everything about the stay was easy. The cabin is simple, rustic, cozy and comfortable. It was a perfect size for our family of 5. Though it's not within walking distance of town, it's an easy and quick drive - the same goes for the trip to Whiteface. We are in Lake Placid often. Rudy's place is somewhere we would recommend to friends and family

Summary: This was our second stay in the lovely condo. The location on the resort provides easy access to the waterfront and golf course- and love views. Summary: Rudy's Paradise was a very nice condo! Our reason for coming to Lake Placid was to see the "Miracle on Ice" exhibit at the Olympic Museum and to have a couple days of just relaxing due to my daughters just finishing up their college semesters. Rudy's condo was exactly what we were looking for. The description and pictures were exactly as posted. It was very homey and comfortable for me and my husband and two adult daughters. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. One of our favorite things was the deck. It had views of Lake Placid, Whiteface Mt and Mt. Marcy. It was great sitting out there and one morning my husband caught an awesome photo of the sunrise. These views could also be seen from the dining room and living room. Rudy was a wonderful host. He stopped over the first morning and introduced himself and then we ran into him uptown later in the day. He was so nice and friendly! He filled us in on anything and everything you needed to know about Lake Placid. The communication was great! The resort is right on Lake Placid. It was nice but unfortunately last week was off season for the area, so alot of the activities such as, the boat house, beach, tennis, etc were not open. We were early by a couple weeks. I know we would have enjoyed many of the amenities though. We did walk around the resort. The property is very beautiful!

Summary: We enjoyed our family stay in mid June. Loved the outdoor activities while there but couldn't do much on a rainy day. Unfortunately it rained 2 out of 5 days that we had planned to be there for. For that reason we ended up leaving a day early. Regardless the time we spent together as a family on this short trip was beautiful. Thank you. One note- The view was gorgeous but I have to say the bugs especially by and on the lake (in June) were plentiful. Make sure to stock yourself with a lot of bug spray.
