The perfect Adirondack experience awaits you at the “Moose Tracks” townhouse at the end of a private cul-de-sac! Step into a pristine, Adirondack style townhouse nestled into the heart of nature yet part of the highly sought-after Hillcrest neighborhood. A quick stroll away lies the serene Mirror Lake and its beautiful town beach, shopping galore, endless restaurants, famous Olympic village, Lake Placid marina, kid’s playground and 15-minute drive to the magnificent Whiteface mountain! Our newly renovated space is decorated with rustic Adirondack décor throughout the townhouse. The main floor allows for relaxing leisure time after a day enjoying all the area has to offer. Cozy up in the living room on two super comfortable sleeper sofas by the wood burning fireplace fully stocked with firewood to keep warm on a cool evening or night. An array of various electronics and other items to keep busy include high-speed WIFI, Sony Smart HDTV with cable, Blue Ray DVD player, Nintendo Wii console, DVD movies, board games, puzzles and more. In addition, there is an adorable desk with a chair that overlooks the tranquil woods for those that must mix some business with pleasure.
The new chef’s style kitchen is appointed with custom cabinetry and new appliances for those that love to cook. Included are all the dining essentials one may ever need such as newer pots/pans, knife block set, microwave, toaster, gourmet cookbooks, five burner stove range & oven, dishwasher, French door fridge & freezer, coffee machine with grinder, Belgium waffle maker, beautiful matching dinnerware, glassware & cutlery. Adjacent to kitchen is a large counter height wooden dining table with seating for six in its own nature oasis surrounded by windows. Note that we have a window AC unit in our main level living room, for those very rare days, just in case. Also located on the first floor is a refinished ½ bath, storage nook with bench and large closet. For your winter gear - skis, snowboards, boots, etc. we have a storage shed outside for you to use.
The second floor has two very spacious bedrooms and laundry closet with new washer & dryer. The Master retreat has an Adirondack style queen size bed, large closet, and full bath. The 2nd bedroom features a XL bunk bed with a twin/queen combo and a full bath. Each bedroom has a window AC unit in the summer months. Head out back to our large deck overlooking the forest with seasonal mountain views. There you will find a dining table with chairs and a gas grill, perfect for the day’s catch on the lake or your famous barbecue! ***PETS NOT ALLOWED*** Unfortunately due to our own family and others allergies all pets are strictly prohibited and will forfeit deposit along with additional cleaning fee if found to be on premises.

Summary: This place is perfect for a stay in Lake Placid or to visit Whiteface. The rental has everything we needed in the kitchen. Bedrooms are fine and the living room has a wood burning fireplace which is nice after a day of skiing. Restaurants, coffee shop, sandwich shop, and great bars (Zig Zags!) are a short walk down the hill. Really a perfect spot.

Summary: Loved the location. It's easy to get to, close to downtown yet far enough to not worry about groups of people constantly walking by. The house was very spacious and was well equipped with everything one could need. We all had a blast

Summary: What a wonderful townhouse! It had everything we needed for the stay. Rooms were comfortable, games and Wii for the kids were great, kitchen was well appointed, and parking was perfect. Within walking distance to Main Street, although there were some hills, it was not a problem for the children. Perfect size for two families to stay, and have their privacy with separate bathrooms. This townhouse was a 10, and we look forward to staying there again in the future.

Summary: We stayed at Moose Tracks for a long weekend and thought it was a great spot. Walkable to town if you don’t mind some healthy hills but we decided to drive downtown with the kiddos. The townhouse was extremely well appointed with everything you’d need. The kids loved the bunk room!

Summary: We stayed at the property for the Lake Placid Village Stroll. The location and accommodations were perfect; easily walkable to everything on Main Street! Super clean, well maintained and very adequately stocked with everything we needed! My only negative (for my son) was that the property did not have the foosball table as in the pictures. I told him it was probably due to the beautiful Christmas tree being up for the holiday in the living room area; there wasn't enough room for both. What a wonderful surprise to have the entire townhouse decked out with beautiful winter/Christmas decor!! So pretty and appreciated!

Summary: Great place had everything you need. Perfect 10. Walk to town could be a little difficult for some people due to hills but it is a mountain town. Driving to town was easy and parking was cheap.

Summary: This property was exactly what we were looking for! It worked perfectly for me, my spouse, and daughter, and there was room for more! The location was excellent…we easily walked the few blocks to downtown Lake Placid. The amenities at the property were great and the couple of times I communicated with the property manager I received prompt and helpful feedback. Amazing stay!

Summary: We had a great family girls getaway weekend here. The house was very clean and had all of the essentials plus more and was in a great location. We really enjoyed being able to go into town for a few hours a day and the being able to come back for some great food we were able to make at the house and lots of laughs.

Summary: My husband, daughter and I spent a week in Lake Placid at Moose Tracks. It’s the perfect location for getting around town and quick drives to several day hikes at Mt Hoe, Marcy and White Face. It only takes a few minutes to walk into the center of town where you can grab coffee, have breakfast at the Breakfast Club or shop for Christmas ornaments at the Christmas Shop. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to make meals. Bedrooms had ACs that was helpful at night. Patio was lovely. Host was in touch with us before the trip but we didn’t need any help once we were there. Would stay there again.
