4 Bedroom House in Interlaken

Go no further to enjoy the fall foliage - great views from the porch or dining room - colorful hard woods on both sides of Cayuga Lake. If you like to fish, come in April to fish for Rainbows and land locked Salmon, June is typically great for Lakers. Dock and boat lift are available, ready to go for that early morning cast off. Please notify owner if you anticipate using.
Very clean, ranch style cottage, completely winterized, at the lake level with no steps. Drive to the cottage on paved road, well maintained by the town. Park right next to the cottage. On the west side of Cayuga Lake with spectacular sunrises if you are an early riser.
Located midway up the lake on the west side, 18 miles N of Ithaca. 4 bedrooms, 1 with a queen sized bed, 2 have double beds and 1 has 2 single beds. Reading lights near all beds. Maximum 8 persons. Central AC installed 2022. Large well equipped updated kitchen , big dining room overlooking the lake, large stone fireplace in living room, nice yards, porch with chairs and table for eating, gas grill, historic gazebo next to the lake with 2 historic swings, as well as a large dock with a nice beach for swimming. At night, very little light pollution to view the stars, constellations, satellites, Space station, shooting stars, etc. Quiet residential neighborhood - no large gatherings permitted.
Basic start ups with toilet paper, soaps and paper towels will be provided. Renter responsible for any additional as needed.
A 5000 pound boat lift is available for renter's use upon notifying owner.

Summary: The house and the property was awesome! Very clean and perfect amount of space. The owner's Maxine and Paul were friendly, accommodating and very pleasant!!! All of us enjoyed our stay very much. Cayuga Lake is beautiful and we enjoyed being so close to the water and the access was very easy. We are booking it again for a stay next year!!

Summary: My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Centrally located between Seneca and Cayuga lakes and some of our favorite places to go! Having our morning coffee watching the sunrise from the bench at the boathouse was one of our favorite things.

Summary: I highly recommend renting this house. We had a great experience. The hosts were quick to get back to me when I was booking the house. Once we arrived, they were very helpful with directing us to the boat launch and near by wineries. The house was clean and well stocked. Overall a great trip.

Summary: We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakefront cottage on Cayuga lake. It was a perfect place for my family to get together for our extended weekend. The pictures online don’t do it justice. It was so clean, well maintained and much bigger than it looks. We all appreciated the closeness of the lakefront whether it was enjoying the views from the boathouse swings, fishing off the docks or swimming in the shallows. Lots of windows inside to see the view as well. Maxine and Paul were great hosts and very helpful and accessible with any questions that we had.
