Summary: The area, the mountains and the waterfalls are amazingly beautiful. The options of adventures are many. We did white water rafting, a night time ropes course, out on the lake in a pontoon for the day and hiking the most beautiful trails. In between we enjoyed the house, pool, hot tub and every amenity anyone could want. Our hosts were available for questions and guidance. It could not have been. Better week.

Summary: The owners went out of the way to make us feel welcome and at home. Arriving with the refrigerator stocked with necessary items and pampering supplies to make us feel like we were on vacation. This vacation home gets an A+ with cleanliness, organization, and suggestions. We enjoyed pool side times with our family and the hot tub was very relaxing after some of our West Virginia adventures. This has been one of our top tier family vacations! The privacy of the home’s location, nestled in the woods was a perfect location to get away from the business of everyday life. We left with happy memories of this vacation rental. As John Denver says, “almost heaven”.

Summary: It was a beautiful local vacation for us. The pool and outdoor area was absolutely beautiful. Our children adored the pool. We utilized the kitchen and outside patio the majority of our stay. The owners were readily available to solve any issues.

Summary: We stayed 7 nights in July with our daughters, sons-in-law, and one six-year-old grandson. This is our second time here because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Everyone wants to go back again too! Lora is so gracious and left treats and breakfast items for our first morning. Firewood was provided for the fire pit, beach towels were plentiful, and the private backyard was spectacular with the heated pool, the comfortable furniture, and the smoker and grill. You can’t see the neighbors’ homes because of the mature trees. We enjoyed watching the blue birds and the deer. We loved playing games at the large dining table and cooking in the open kitchen. We plan to return in two years when we can arrange a date that works for everyone. The kids don’t want to have their family week anywhere else because this place has it all!!! Thank you!

Summary: Our group has stayed here a few times, each time it is better. It is hard to believe that each time is better than the last. There is room for each to spend time privately or to come all together and spend time as one. The pool area is amazing - they have taken great thought into the needs of those renting. The towels are soft and taken care of, not the feeling of used towels as in some places. The owners are amazing - we love chatting with them and getting to know them. They respond whenever needed. We hope to return again.

Summary: Our family had a wonderful time at the property and look forward to returning again very soon. The home has 4 large bedrooms, 2 nice full baths, a great kitchen, a number of nicely situated sitting rooms, a large yard and a large in-ground pool. A lovely home.

Summary: We had 8 of us, including our four-year-old grandson with us. Our adult kids loved it! We spent the days swimming, cooking, reading, playing games and just generally hanging out. The guys had a great time in the lower level with all of the included gaming devices. Because of the spacious layout, we all had places we could find to read, nap, relax or chill. The open kitchen allowed us to be together as we cooked, and the outside grill and smoker made our meals wonderful! The best part was the private pool, the large patios, the comfortable outdoor furniture and the great fire pit with the split logs waiting for us to light them! Lora and Lenny provided everything for our stay, and we appreciated their warmth and hospitality. We loved their welcome basket including the makings of breakfast and s'mores ! We've stayed at rental homes in several different states, and this home was the best! We plan to return! Thank you, Lora and Lenny, for opening your home to us!

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation at this house. The house and pool are beautiful. It is very well maintained and equipped - close to stores, services and attractions. It is a mini resort. The pool is large and heated with a slide and diving board and the surrounding patio has a fire pit and comfortable furniture. It has a first rate gas grill and a charcoal smoker. The basement has arcade quality Foosball, air hockey and ping pong tables plus lots of cross-fit stuff. The grand kids loved the trampoline and we all played the bean bag toss. We've rented some really nice places from Florida to Maine and this house was the best.

Summary: We took a group of exchange student for a mini vacation. The owners are amazing host - answering all questions so quickly. They had milk and pancake mix along with snacks and such - it was a nice bonus. The pool space was a great place for all of us gather to chat, make s'mores, and a wonderful bonfire. The space in the house allows for us to all be in the same spot or separate doing our own thing. The basement was fabulous with air hockey and ping pong. Thank you so much for opening your home and allowing us to have a wonderful time in West Virginia. We will be back!
