Harry John's House is a expertly renovated, 150 year old home that features a truly unique vacationing experience. Complementing our 2 traditional bedrooms is a wonderful loft that children absolutely love! Still, a kid at heart will also find relaxing sleep there after a memorable day of Newfoundland adventure.
Our home offers a private and secluded getaway, with only birds, whales and boats to disturb the quiet. Still, we are close to all the action and beauty of many popular destinations. And of course, we are less than an hour from the St. John's airport.
It really does just take one visit to fall in love.

Summary: This place was tidy, quaint and has a beautiful ocean view from a big upstairs window. We loved the town of Cupid for its history and beauty. We did day trips into St. John’s and attractions around the Island and found many things in a reasonable distance. The host checked in to see if we needed anything occasionally, which was nice. We had a wonderful family vacation and this lovely seaside home was a great part of it.

Summary: Over the past 3 decadesI have rented properties in the UK, France, Italy, the USA and Canada, all in the same price range. This one is the best; fully renovated, fully equipped and a completely unobstructed view of the ocean. The owner, Chad, is very responsive and helpful. This property is very highly recommended.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and wished we would have planned a longer visit here. The house is nicely updated and had everything we needed. When we inquired about fresh lobster, Chad made arrangements for us and got us the supplies we needed. The location afforded a spectacular view and a quiet setting. We were still close to shopping, sites, restaurants, and trails though. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning with our coffee and other beverages in the evening. We saw whales go by daily and, on calm days, could even hear them.

Summary: The house has been updated to provide every convenience and comfort for guests. The great room has an amazing outlook and we enjoyed looking out at the fishing boats. The host was responsive to our needs and readily provided a high chair for the 1 year old in our group. It was a relaxing stay.
