This is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home. The house is fully furnished and linens are provided. We provide a Keurig machine for morning coffee and a full kitchen is available for your use. Internet is provided and can be used during your stay.
On the top floor their are 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second is a "kids" room, which includes a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom, and a twin on top. The room also has a pull out twin bed for a slumber party. There is a shared bathroom between the two bedrooms, not to mention beautiful views of the lake.
The main level has the kitchen area, a dining room, the master bedroom with an attached bathroom, and a 3 seasons room. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic cookware. The dining space has room for 10 to sit around, so the whole family can congregate after a full day. It also shows off some art work from local artists. The 3 seasons room is a place to come sit in the morning as you watch the sun come up with a cup of coffee in your hands. The master bedroom has a king bed and an attached bathroom, which includes a Whirlpool Jacuzzi.
The basement has the fourth bedroom with a queen bed in it. The common area is set up for family fun with plenty of seating room for everyone. If cold start a fire in the Niagara Escarpment stone fireplace. Or for a more competitive time we have family arcade games. Alternatively turn off the lights and pop some popcorn while you watch a movie on the ROKU TV.
The basement also walks out to the Machickanee Lake access. We provide a charcoal grill and chairs to relax as you watch the boaters and soak in the fun of the lake. If you want to join them we provide 2 adult kayaks and 2 kids kayaks and supply life jackets (Memorial Day to Labor day). The water level may very depending on the city so because it can be shallow and weedy we don't recommend larger boats from our dock. On the Machickanee there are multiple boat launches in different areas of the flowage for fun on the lake with your boat.
In the area you'll find swimming beach in Oconto Falls. They also have local food and attractions. We include maps showing some great public trails to explore. If you want to do something adventurous try the Bay Beach Amusement park, or N.E.W. adventure park. If it's raining you're only a half an hour away from Lambeau field and other Green Bay activities.

Summary: The property was just perfect for our 3 generation group of 9. We have never found a VRBO with three full bathrooms, and the hot water kept up perfectly! Bedrooms were spacious, the arcade games were enjoyable. Dishwasher worked great, but could use a few. More kitchen towels. Grandma would have liked a couple of easy chairs in the dining room to feed the baby in. Thanks for the pack n play! Frog catching and kayaking were enjoyed. We visited the Peshtigo Fire museum, Copper Culture state park, Shawano Fkea Market Gilmer Falls and Kuegels cheese shop. Stopping at Bay Beach to complete our annual Memorial Day Weekend trip. Thank you!

Summary: A group of 8 adults stayed for the weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday. The house was perfect for our group. It was clean and well stocked. The check in process was seamless. Our only regret was not bringing our ice fishing gear to try it out.

Summary: This place was perfect for the 4 of us adults to rejuvenate after the busy holiday season. It was consistent with the pictures and description. The kitchen had what was needed to prepare and enjoy our food; bedrooms were wonderful - each with a great view of the water; the game cupboard, comfortable couches around the TV, video games, and many DVD movies provided the entertainment we needed; the owners were very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely fashion; check-in and check-out were simple. We would definitely stay here again if our plans lead us there.

Summary: To give this location a 4 would be criminal so the 5 star rating was definitely appropriate. The facilities were as advertised and they even had a small Christmas Tree set-up. Easy to find despite cautions otherwise and in a great area. The views of the frozen flowage were wonderful from all rooms and the decor was tasteful as well as comfortable. The only caveats were that a couple of rooms could use a good deep cleaning They were what I would call 'casually' clean, meaning that they were, in general, meeting all you would expect in a clean house. There were just small details, tiny really, that you probably wouldnt notice if you werent running around, exploring the grounds.The outside could use a pressure wash come the Spring but for us, during the Winter, it was a non-issue.The only other slight drawback were the number of Asian Lady Beetles (fake ladybugs). It was surprising considering we were there during December but there were more than a couple of dozen spotted around the house. Again, they werent a nuisance, but they were notable.We used the kitchen and utensils, pans, etc to make a Christmas dinner and everything turned out wonderfully. The property was warm and everything was inviting. The video games were a big hit with young and old alike.Our family would recommend and will probably look toward finding time to rent this property again during the warmer months to take advantage of all the water activities that the property promises.
