HERE COMES THE SUN is a comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse located in the gated, private South Padre Island Golf Community and a short drive to the wonderful gulf coast beaches on South Padre Island. The average year-round temperature in our backyard is 72 degrees and the screened porch is a great spot to relax and bird watch.
GREAT ROOM/KITCHEN/DINING. Relax in the comfy recliners while watching cable TV or DVDs on the 42” flat screen HD TV in the living area. A sound board allows you to stream your own music selection. The dining areas includes a table for four and side buffet.
The kitchen features tiled counter tops with breakfast bar and is fully equipped with all that you will need for preparing and enjoying gourmet meals at home or packing a lunch for the beach.
SCREENED PORCH. The private 10'x12' east-facing screened porch offers another comfortable living area with a table relaxing dining or playing games. A gas BBQ grill is provided for use on the exterior tiled landing off the porch. Enjoy the South Texas breezes as you watch the birds in your backyard (300+ species in the area)! The porch overlooks the fairway on the #1 tee on a not-yet-developed 9-hole golf course which is free for use to work on your game! Enjoy your early morning coffee on the porch and you'll witness "Here Comes The Sun" through the palm trees!
MASTER BEDROOM. Featuring a comfortable king-size bed and bedside tables with reading lamps, The Beatles take to the Texas trail in the master suite. A large walk-in closet and dresser are available for your use. The en suite bath includes bathtub and shower. For your entertainment, there is a smart LCD TV.
QUEEN BED BEDROOM. The first guest bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed with bedside tables and dresser and is decorated with a bird watchers theme. An LCD TV and DVD player are available for entertainment.
BUNK BED BEDROOM. The second guest bedroom features a twin bunk bed over a full-size bed. This guest room also has a smart LCD TV for entertainment.
GUEST BATH. The guest bath with walk-in shower is conveniently located near the guest bedrooms.
OTHER FEATURES. You will enjoy central air and heat, along with ceiling fans, throughout the interior living areas. The garage is available for guests to park their vehicle and there is ample off-street parking space in the drive. The washer and dryer is located in the garage and available for guest use, along with a supply of laundry detergent. Beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels are available for your trips to the beach. You will find high quality linens in the bedrooms and baths. Pack light and make yourself at home with blow dryers, paper goods, bath soap, shampoo, conditioners, lotions, dish soap, and iron/ironing board all provided at the unit. As our guest at HERE COMES THE SUN, the resort amenities of the South Padre Island Golf Community are also available for your use, including one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in the Rio Grande Valley, heated swimming pools, tennis court, fitness room, and onsite restaurant and bar.
IN THE AREA. A guest binder at the unit will provide you with information on activities, dining, and shopping in the area. The best beaches along the Gulf of Mexico (average yearly water temperature of 80 degrees) are located on South Padre Island – just 15-20 minutes away. Water sports in the area are abundant, including deep sea fishing, bay fishing, wind surfing, jet skiing and parasailing to name a few. This area is also an international destination for birding with the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center and Laguna Madre Nature Trails just minutes away. Mexico is less than an hour away with a border town offer an entertaining and inexpensive experience in shopping and dining (passport required).
