Summary: This property exceeded our expectations. It has been fully renovated and felt welcoming. Our family of 5 had plenty of room with the 2 queen beds and 1 pull out couch. They provided bath and beach towels, a few pots and pans, dishes, silverware and more. The location is perfect with the beach, splash pad, mini golf and farmers market all all nearby.

Summary: This property is in a great location, close to the beach and downtown. Recently updated and a very nice space. Plenty of room for us to hang out and relax. The full size fridge is an awesome plus.

Summary: This motel was amazing. The owner is very friendly. She keeps her motel extremely clean. The beach is right across the street, which is a plus. Definitely will be coming back.

Summary: The 40 Winks was cozy, clean, & convenient to everything in Alpena. Kristen, our host, was excellent with her communication. We walked to the Alpena Farmers Market. We strolled along the shores of Lake Huron (literally across the street!) We would not hesitate returning to 40 Winks when we return to Alpena in the future.
