Welcome to Haven Family Stays! This is a spacious, newly renovated daylight basement for medium to large groups. Very family friendly! Fun kid's bunkroom! You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located vacation rental. Rural setting only a half mile from the interstate. Exactly halfway between the Creation Museum & Ark Encounter! The city of Florence with its restaurants and shopping is only 15 minutes away. Cincinatti, with its attractions & all that the big city has to offer is only 25 minutes away.
This gorgeous daylight basement rental has lots of beds and amenities for large groups and families! The fully decked out bunk room with arcade, toys, and games will entertain the kids for hours. Portable pack-and-play crib available for babies. Parents and adults will be able to relax in king size bedrooms or socialize in the fully furnished living space, with reclining furniture. The fully equipped kitchen will be a pleasure for preparing delicious meals! There are fold-out futons in one king room and in the bunk room for extra sleeping space.
The space is accessed from its own private entrance with a private drive. There is plenty of private parking for up to 4 vehicles. The guest will enter the space using an unlock code sent to them prior to arrival. The entire lower level of the home is for guest use (almost 2000 sq. ft.) with no sharing of internal spaces. Guests will have access to their own washer and dryer. A dedicated thermostat controls the downstairs central heating & cooling system.
The host will be immediately accessible throughout your stay by mobile phone or through the booking app. We will respect your privacy unless you request face-to-face assistance.
Quiet, scenic, rural setting within 5 minutes of the convenience of Interstate 71/75. We are strategically located exactly halfway between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. It is about a 25 minute drive to each. The city of Florence with its restaurants and shopping is only 15 minutes away. Cincinatti, with its attractions and all that the big city has to offer is only 25 minutes away. The beautiful cites of Lexington and Louisville are about an hour south.
Note: Our family does live in the upper level of the home, so you will hear some minor noise and footsteps from above from time-to-time.
That this is a spacious daylight BASEMENT vacation rental with a private exterior entrance and private driveway. Note that our family does live upstairs and you may hear us from time-to-time moving around upstairs. We do our best to observe quiet hours and will be very respectful of your privacy. Only book the space if you understand all this.

Summary: We loved staying in Walton. It was half way between the Ark encounter and Creation Museum. We stayed as a family of 4 with my elderly parents. It is a walkout basement apartment, easy for my parents with no stairs. The apartment is big and bright and clean. They pay special attention to small details to enhance your stay. Like umbrellas, inside crocs, shampoo, some toys, some games, spices, coffee pods, a few snacks, suitcase racks, ice machine in fridge and lots of towels. Lots of thought put into enjoying your stay. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. We really enjoyed staying in the country and the cute stream and rolling hills made it a pleasant drive and nice to sit outside and BBQ. We would stay again if we returned to the area.

Summary: We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The expansive basement apartment, with four very spacious bedrooms, could not have better suited our family and six children (8 and under). The hosts were very communicative and truly thought of everything. The place was immaculately clean, and it included everything that we needed and things we didn’t realize we would need! If you have littles, then the bunk room bedroom is a pure delight and makes it easy to be at the house for a while for nap times. Lastly, the property outdoors was expansive, and our kids could have played there the whole time! One note is that you will absolutely hear the owners upstairs. They were upfront with us about that before booking our stay, and we certainly heard them at times. We are used to traveling with white noise machines, earplugs, etc., so it didn’t bother us, but you should be prepared for that upfront. Otherwise, this is an A stay without question!

Summary: A great, spacious rental for family! Loved having plenty of room to gather in large living room and kitchen, and kids loved the play/game room. Everything was clean, everything was labeled neatly, and everything one could need was in the property! Check in was easy and straight forward. Host was attentive and great with communication. Highly recommend this property.

Summary: The property was in excellent condition, very clean and the owner provides everything you could need. Furnishings were very comfortable and well maintained. Kitchen had everything you needed with high end appliances. The kids did not want to leave their room, it had plenty of things to keep them entertained.
