Summary: We absolutely loved this home. It is gorgeously decorated and homey. Walking distance to the riverwalk and downtown was very convenient. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: This is an updated historic home in a quiet neighborhood. You need to drive/bike to the beach. It’s about 30 minutes walk at a slow pace. But downtown is more like 10 minutes walk. The two bedrooms are very far apart so our 3 year old slept on the couch in the living room to stay closer. But older kids would have their own little area. Unit stays nice and cool on summer nights with the window open. Great stay!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Fancy Home. We were very comfortable in the beautifully updated historic home Manistee is a great little town with good restaurants, shopping and just a few minutes drive to Lake Michigan where we experienced a gorgeous sunset to the west and a big rainbow to the east on the same evening ! We would definitely stay with Fancy Homes again !

Summary: This home/apartment was decorated beautifully. The host thought of everything from having a bottle of wine. There was coffee pods. The bedrooms were inviting. The location of this property was great for beaching going downtown just exploring Manistee we will return again thank you.

Summary: We enjoyed our weekend in the Apartment. How wonderful to enter and find everything we needed. Plush nice towels in abundance, wonderful dishes, coffee waiting to be made in the Keurig and comfortable beds. We loved the beautiful rugs in all the rooms. An abundance of blankets and pillows, throw blankets for snuggling on the nice couch. It was just fantastic! The pictures didn’t do it justice. We were glad we read reviews ahead of time and learned it was an apartment not a full house we were renting. Not a big deal. The people upstairs were super quiet and only heard them once and a while if they were walking or coming and going in the morning. The bottle of wine was lovely and the owner was excellent with communication. The only thing we found missing was an ironing board. But no worries, there was a steamer right next to the iron. Thinking of everything! We definitely will stay here again and maybe sleep in the blue bedroom facing the water. It was too pretty to disturb. Highly recommend! Will definitely check out other properties by Fancy Homes for future stays! Thanks again!

Summary: The space was super clean, extremely well decorated, smelled nice, and had everything we needed for our stay. We felt safe and comfortable in the home and neighborhood. We enjoyed the historical home and its renovation. It may have been my fault for not digging further into the description, but somehow I missed that this is not a listing for the whole house. It is a main floor apartment. It would be helpful if the listing was more clear to this point. Please note, we had NO complaints about the upstairs neighbors, in fact he was very friendly and absent, but were not expecting that setup.
