Summary: The location was great, close to rafting and Maine hiking. The rafting was a blast. Pleasant Pond Trial was amazing with breath taking views. Enjoyed time around the fire pit each night. Ladder to the loft was a little steep with no hand railings but doable. Overall great up north feel.

Summary: This was a great cabin. Only complaint was shower was so small that it was hard to shave in and only a mirror in bathroom. Made for getting ready for a wedding take a lot longer. Definitely a good place for guys to use for hunting and fishing.

Summary: Our family spent 4 days at the cabin and it was absolutely perfect for us. We are a family of 5: Mom, Dad/Stepdad, and 3 boys, ages 16, 11, and 2.5. The cabin worked perfectly as a homebase while we explored The Forks area. Bonus that the Caratunk boat launch, where we fished, swam, and paddle boarded, is within walking distance, though we drove since it crosses Rt 201 which is a major through way. Yet the camp is set far enough away from 201 that we were never bothered by road noise or worried about our 2 yo running around outside. The dirt road that the camp is on was perfect for our older boys to ride their bikes around. We met Jeff, the caretaker, who lives in the nearby cabin, and he was very nice and helpful. Outside the cabin was a fire pit, picnic table, perfect for cooking meals and roasting marshmallows. The front porch was great for sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and a drink in the evenings. There was a propane grill, though we didn't use it. The interior was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen, while small and minimalist (I mean this as a good thing), had everything we needed for our stay (except food, of course). Full-sized fridge, studio sized range-top oven, microwave, toaster, cutlery, dishes, glasses, coffee maker, etc. We had plenty of space for sleeping, and even had room to set up a pack n play for our youngest in the bunkbed room (though he didn't end up using it). The beds are all high enough to store luggage underneath, plus there are dressers and lots of hooks for hanging items. The loft was perfect for our 16yo, though I found out when stripping the bed on the last day that he got the better mattress 😂 If we didn't need to stay close to our 2yo at night we would have taken the loft as the mattress in the double bed was pretty stiff (standard for a camp, though). We would love return to the "moose house", as our youngest called it, next summer!
