Tastefully decorated four-bedroom waterfront cottage in the Kawarthas, 15 minutes North of Lindsay, 15 minutes South of Bobcaygeon, and about 1-1/2 hrs. from East-end Toronto;
Private, heavily treed & situated high above the lake with a spectacular view, on the South shore of Sturgeon Lake - on the Trent/Severn system;
Beautiful sunsets and 130+ feet of clean, clear waterfront - excellent for swimming, including deep water for adults and a shallow, wade-in area suitable for small children
Sleeps up to 7-8. Three bedrooms have queen size beds and one has a double.
Beautifully decorated lakeside sunroom with table & chairs and sofa for lounging
4-piece bath including tub & shower
Central heating; central air conditioning
Large fully-equipped kitchen, complete with full size fridge, stove and dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans and utensils
Laundry facilities

Large decks (at front and at back of cottage), two enclosed sun porches, and two decks down by the water; patio tables, lots of chairs and loungers

Excellent swimming - deep water off the dock and shallow, wade-in entry at other end
Excellent fishing -- right off the dock or fish off the complementary paddle boat
NOTE: Lot is steep on the lake side -- there are approximately 75 steps down to the water and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
*Linens (e.g. sheets for the beds and personal towels) are not included in the rental cost but can be provided at a nominal charge. $120 for sheets for all beds; $150 to include sheets and a supply of personal towels, hand towels, bath mat, etc.

Summary: Lovely cottage for our family of 5 plus 2 pets. The layout of the cottage is terrific, 4 bedrooms, nice big kitchen. Sunroom, mudroom, deck and BBQ - 3 entry/exit points, was great for the pets and us. Vicky (owner) was a pleasure to work with. Cottage was well equipped with everything you could want and more! There are 75 + steps down to the water. Lovely sitting area by the water. Loved our stay and would love to return again! Thank you!

Summary: We enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving at this property, The house is quite old but the condition is very good, you can find all your needs while you stay, The host is super kind and responsive to any question you might have, and the front yard is very secure for the kids to play, The house is not at the lake level but I don't really mind going down the stairs to reach the water. I highly recommend this place.

Summary: Our experience with Vicky in her cottage was very good. Vicky is a kind, simple, and very willing and open lady to help her guests enjoy what she offers. She is the one who is ready to walk extra miles so that everything goes well for the guest. It was a pleasant surprise to see the beautiful view from the cottage to the lake, and the entire area surrounding it.` We really enjoyed our visit, and we will indeed repeat it soon.

Summary: The cottage was perfect for my family. We spent most of our time on the dock, swimming, fishing and using the paddle boat. Lake is shallow near the dock and then gets deep. It was good for my younger children to enjoy. The fire pit down by the lake was great, we used it each night. The cottage was Ean, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked.
