Negative: Unless you paid for the parking which was โ‚ฌ10 a day, it was very difficult to get on street parking. There was a few times that I couldnโ€™t get street parking and I paid for the underground parking which cost โ‚ฌ18.50 a day the price is too much if you are staying there for more than a week.

Positive: The apartment is really nice and has all that we needed. It is located above a buzzling market square and within an easy access of sightseeing, walking, beaches and shopping. It was quite and well sound insulated.
Negative: The apartment is on the 4th floor which is a challenge with suitcases upon arrival but this was made clear from hosts and turned out to be a good exercise:-)
Summary: Great apartment in a great location!

Positive: We loved the appartement! The interior is very nice and the appartement includes everything you need. The location is central but quiet. A big plus is the market right at the square, where you can get excellent breakfast :)

Positive: The apartment is in excellent shape. All furniture and appliances are up-to-date and well maintained. The kitchen is well-stocked. The owners are friendly and responsive. Tarragona is a great city to visit, full of life and history and without the prices, the hordes of tourists and the constant personal security issues of Barcelona. And this apartment has the best possible location. Itโ€™s roughly equidistant from all the major sites of the Old Town. Restaurants and bars abound, but if you wish to prepare food yourself, the apartment overlooks a busy square, which houses the huge Public Market. Butchers, fishmongers, bakers, fromageries, greengrocers: whatever you need is there, and downstairs from it is a large, well-stocked conventional supermarket. And it's one block to the main commercial street, the attractive Rambla Nova.
Negative: Access to this apartment involves 80 steps on a narrow staircase. To me, in view of the other advantages, this isnโ€™t a deal-breaker. I certainly wish there were an elevator, just as I would have liked a larger balcony, but overall Iโ€™m happy to have chosen this place. If, however, anyone in your party has mobility issues, not only are you looking at the wrong apartment, but you may be looking at the wrong city. The Roman artifacts of Tarragona are magnificent, but fully appreciating them requires a lot of walking.

Positive: The apartment was well equipped although we would have preferred a few more mugs in addition to the cups. The apartment was located on Placa Corsini right opposite the market, with great choices for breakfast and evening drinks. Despite its location it was quiet and we weren't disturbed, even on market days. The hosts provided a great deal of information prior to arrival which was very helpful. The railway station is a ten minute walk.
Negative: Anyone choosing this apartment would need to be aware of two things: it is on the top floor of four and there is no lift, no arrangements are available for leaving luggage at the end of the stay, but there is a locker room 'Lockers Tarragona', a couple of minutes away, where you can pay to leave your cases should you need to. The XL locker will take a decent sized suitcase + one hand luggage sized case. Tarragona Radio Taxis will pick up from that location. If these issues do not affect your stay then there is no reason not to choose this apartment.
Summary: We loved Tarragona and also visited Barcelona, Porta Ventura theme park and Altafulla by train.
