Positive: Everything was beyond amazing!! It was clean, everything worked as it should, the bathroom is wonderful and it was sooo nice to have a shower after a long day at the park.. which is LITERALLY across the road!! Everyone I knew was so jealous I was staying here! There were even shower gels, soaps, two delicious cookies, mini milks, sugar etc left out complimentary too which was so lovely! It was the best trip ever and I really can’t wait to be back again!
Negative: The ONE and ONLY thing that bothered me that I could say about staying in this lovely place is the sheer amount of spiders! Absolutely everywhere!😆 it’s not too bad until they come down on you from the ceiling or run at you at night hahah. I didn’t mind though, it was worth putting up with them to stay in a place like this!

Positive: Very close to Alton towers. Kitchen was nice and modern. Bathroom was big and shower was nice. Owner was very friendly. Plenty space for parking
Negative: Only issue is that the bed was REALLY uncomfortable - it was hard as a rock and wasn’t really big enough for 2 people as it was just a double. Pillows were thin and blanket wasn’t large enough.
Summary: Pleasant but definitely needs a different bed

Positive: Location is good, especially if visiting Alton towers. Decorated well and homely. Well equipped kitchen. Good private parking. Lovely local pubs/restaurants.
Negative: Bed was dreadfully hard and uncomfortable. Pillows flat and need replacing. Needs better cleaning as there were lots of cobwebs and spiders in bathroom, hair found in cutlery draw and fridge and makeup (not mine) was on the pillow protectors and throw on the bed.
Summary: It was a pleasant stay and even though there are some negatives it didn’t ruin our weekend.

Positive: On first arrival we were presently surprised by how much space there was for us to park the car, additionally the parking was free at no extra cost! Such a bonus, it is conveniently located opposite Alton Towers max 5 min walk to the front entrance, perfect! The property was wonderfully clean and smelled lovely when we walked in, lots of amenities including: Towels, Body wash, Soap, Hand wash, Toilet roll, Kitchen roll, all bedding, kitchen appliances ect. We had such a wonderful stay, it was quite and cosy. The weekend we went was really hot but the cottage stayed nice and cool. I couldn’t recommend enough, thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Positive: We had an excellent stay. The place is finished to a high standard and is perfectly clean. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the park.
Negative: We only had a few observations. The front door should have a blind. We felt uncomfortable coming out of the bathroom in our towels, as it was in view if the other guest / owner was in the drive or passing to the bins. When coming out of the drive onto the main road, you can't see any traffic coming from the right. It could do with having a blind spot mirror to make it safer (the other property's along the road have them).

Positive: Modern cottage as shown in the pictures. Walking distance to alton towers park and a couple minutes drive into alton
Negative: Lack of paths in the area means you need to drive or get an uber to pubs/restaurants. Only £3.50 though for uber into alton

Positive: It felt very homely and extremely tidy, well organised and thought out. The decor felt fresh and clean, all the furniture matched the space well. We loved staying here, great communication as well!
Negative: This property is on the more expensive side of how much we would usually pay but as it was for a birthday I wanted somewhere a bit more special in terms of location and so didn’t mind paying a bit extra for such a lovely place!
Summary: Fab location for Alton Towers and beautiful countryside all around.
