Welcome to Cheboygan. stay and play for 2 nights, a week or longer. Located adjacent to trail number 7 with amazing scenery and many opportunities to eat and drink on and off the trail. Cook your meals in the well-appointed kitchen. Relax and entertain in the large living room with 50" ROKU TV and 3 sofas. Rest well in one of the 2 private bedrooms, (1 queen bed, 1 full bed) or open loft with two twin beds . All sleep spaces are located on 2nd / upstairs level. A single bathroom located on the main level has a shower and a garden tub.
Take the trail to Black Mountain recreation area, Mackinaw City, or many other destinations
Home has new heat and air-conditioning installed.
Fire pit with free firewood for guests and charcoal grill.
Lots of outdoor seating and dining area.

Summary: Excellent host and property, grocery within 3 miles for any needs, close to UP, Mackinac Island and attractions. Super clean and we enjoyed waking up to the great views of the sheep, horses and the beautiful fall foliage.

Summary: This was my second year staying at this house with my sister. It’s very quiet, close to everything-shopping, Mackinac Island, and several smaller lakes. Some of the sunrises and sunsets were beautiful and the sheep and horses add the country charm.

Summary: Great place! Quiet and in the country but just a few miles from civilization. Perfect for enjoying Mackinaw city or Mackinac Island but not paying an arm and leg for a place to eat and sleep. Will for sure stay again!

Summary: My adult daughter and her boyfriend joined us for a vacation. We all stayed at Maxwell House for part of our trip while we visited Mackinac. It was a wonderful experience that we very much enjoyed. Next time we visit we would love to stay again for longer.

Summary: We loved this house! There was plenty of space for our family of 5 (including 3 kids ages 5, 2, and 11 months). The owner seemed extremely friendly through the messages we exchanged. The kitchen was well-stocked with anything you would need. The washer and dryer worked very well. The couches were super comfortable. My kids loved taking a bath in the huge tub! Their favorite part though was feeding milk to the lambs! It was even fun just watching the sheep and horses through the windows. We spent much of our time while staying at this house in Mackinaw City. It was about a 20 minute drive from there and super easy to find using GPS. I would definitely recommend this property! We would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

Summary: The house was wonderfully redone-the kitchen was spacious, featured all the appliances of home, and the island was a wonderful space for sitting, eating, cooking, and working. The house was well-stocked and supplied, we appreciated the coffee and laundry facility. There was plenty of information on what to do in the local area, lots of pamphlets with suggestions in a nice binder. The living room had 3 super large comfy couches for seating for the whole family. The panoramic views on all sides of the property were stunning-the farm was very relaxing. Pam the owner went way above and beyond to offer an opportunity to feed the lambs, horses, and rabbits. Bandit the cat made an appearance towards the end of the stay and was the favorite of the kids. Couldn't have asked for a better experience away from home. We enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning next year.

Summary: The house had everything we needed for our group of 8. It was less than a half hour drive to Mackinaw City. The house was very clean and had all of the things we needed right away and the kids loved the animals! Would definitely chose this house again!
