2 bedroom mobile home, converted to a cabin on the Black River. The bathroom has been renovated. Large windows allow excellent views of the river. Sit on the deck or 3 season room and watch the boats go by. Linens and towels are not provided with the rental, you will have to bring your own, there is a laundry unit for your convenience. There is a private boat dock. Bring your own boat to fish / cruise the river or head out to Black Lake. Black Lake is 10,000 acres with several sandy beach areas to stop and a swim. There are also 2 Kayaks to paddle the river down to the damn or out to the lake. Bring your ATVs, ride to the Black Mountain Recreation Area and 2 extensive trail systems. "The best ATV area in Lower Michigan" The cabin is close to several bars / restaurants and golf courses. 15 minutes from Downtown Cheboygan and 40 minutes from Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island.

Summary: What an amazing stay, this place is a little slice of heaven. Whether it's relaxing on the property around the fire, or out on the dock, you'll love this place. They have the house stocked with basically anything you could need and take very good care of it as well. Hope to come back!

Summary: Nice place to stay for a week while in town for a seminar. Shades in the bedroom would have been nice as the sheer curtains let in a lot of light. There is very low cell signal, so this should probably be noted in the description for those who may have emergency calls they have to be available for. Owners are very nice and respectful of privacy.

Summary: The house was very cute and quaint. It's on a really nice river. It brought back a lot of good childhood memories and was a very comfortable stay. Being a dog friendly place to stay was really nice and accommodating. Upgrades were nice and the place was very clean.

Summary: We came for a birthday weekend & ended with realizing we all needed a calm peaceful weekend. The house was perfect to relax & have fun on the kayaks. Enjoyed having coffee on the dock in the morning & end the day with a cocktail. This is truly a diamond. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Summary: Had a great stay. It was a nice base for our excursions to Mackinac Islabd and the UP. It was nice being able to catch fish right from the dock on the property.

Summary: Was very much looking forward to peace and quiet, like the listing boasted. There is a house being built 40 ft from the cabin. All we heard was air guns, hammers, and a construction crew cursing at one another from 8am to 5 pm daily.

Summary: We were surprised that we had to have our own towels/sheets ( finally found it last on the page) - wish it would have been at the top of the list as we were unprepared and had to borrow from family. Also, we had our elderly father with us and found the place not very user-friendly for him. One suggested would be a grab bar near the toilet.

Summary: Overall I'd say the description of the property was accurate. As far as it being clean, I would say that the outdoor space could have been swept and wiped down better. The chairs and table had to be wiped down to use them. (This could be due to rain and storms prior, but not sure) The inside was clean and neat. We did encounter someone else's sheets in the washer when I went to use it. I decided not to do wash. We loved the 3 season porch and sat out there in the mornings with coffee. Also a great space for our dog.
