Positive: Great location - lovely views and very quiet which suited our work. Cottage is nicely appointed furniture etc
Negative: Not really well equipped. No toiletries - e.g. shower soap ; tissues etc no baking tray to heat dinner. No salt and pepper etc . It would also have been good to have a couple of pods for coffee maker to get started. Long way to the supermarket

Positive: Beautiful location, sitting on a ridge in the rainforest with the Tweed Valley on one side, and the coastline on the other. Fine house and annex (we booked both). Great BBQ area. Friendly owner on the hill, who came down with candles when there was a power blackout. 15 minutes to shops (Murwillumbah or Cabarita) or the fantastic beach at Cabarita.
Negative: Very poor service from the rental company Tweed Coast Holidays. They charged $650 more than the agreed price on Booking.com. Contacted them immediately after the booking confirmation was sent and requested a new confirmation with the agreed price. In the course of the next three weeks they ignored all correspondance - emails, Booking.com chat platform, and telephone (answering machine - never returned calls). We thought they had gone bankrupt! In the end we contacted Booking.com and threatened to cancel the booking if Tweed Coast Holidays kept ignoring us. Only then did we get a new confirmation with the new price ...
