Positive: The house looked nice in the pictures. It is so much better in person. It's a historic home that's had a complete high end renovation. It has everything to feel like you're in your own home. The village is scenic and walkable with things to do and eat minutes down the block. Broadkill Beach is a local treasure about ten minutes drive away. Stop at Po Boys creole for fantastic simple seafood on your way home. The house was such a good choice for us, I hope no one reads this so it's available when we return to the area!

Positive: There was plenty of space to spread out. The yard was nice, the front porch seating was wonderful, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and the family room was cozy It was very hot during our stay and the air conditioning worked great! The coffee we were left/gifted was fantastic and all the directions for house use were clear. We loved the "duck" on the stairs because our party had men who were 6'8" and 6', but it wasn't a problem. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. All the art scattered throughout the house was interesting. Attention to detail was present everywhere.
Negative: Some of the cookware I pulled out to use was dirty and I had to scrub first. We were only given one bath towel each and as a woman who washes her hair in the shower, I (all three of us actually) needed two- one for our hair, one for our body. The upstairs bathroom outlet quit working on day-one of our stay so we had to try to blow-dry our hair in our bedrooms. The only comfortable mattress was on the bed in the red room. The blue room's bed was hard and squeaky and the twin bed was also hard. One of our party opted to sleep in the family room because they were more comfortable. But hey, everyone has their own preferences, it might be perfect for someone else. If I'd had access to the cleaning supplies I would have cleaned the bathroom sink every day like I do at home.
Summary: We loved the house! We'd stay again :) Beautiful area. Best price near the ocean. Fun!!!
