This beautiful 4-6 people farmhouse overlooks a private ornamental (non fishing) lake and features beamed ceilings in all rooms.
The ground floor consists of an open kitchen, living and dining space. The modern kitchen/diner is fitted with a fridge, dishwasher, freezer, large range and microwave. There is a table with 4 chairs and 2 stools at the large island. It is fully furnished with everything you need to make a light snack or a home cooked meal.
The living space has 2 comfortable leather sofas and a 55'' TV with a skybox. Behind the seating area sits a washing machine and a selection of reading material.
There are two bedrooms, the master has a queen bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 is a family room with a queen bed and bunkbeds with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have 20 foot ceilings with exposed beams and roof windows. There is a four piece bathroom including a toilet, sink, and 2 showers within the bath.
The beautiful grounds are set in 3 1/2 acres with lush trees and fauna. There is rear deck with a BBQ and seating area including a picnic table with parasol and a garden swing. The lush gardens can be accessed from the rear and front of the property. There is secure parking at the property and a long drive way to the entrance gate.
The swimming pool is solar heated and located to the front of the property. It measures 15' by 30' and is set in a private fenced area. Open June - October, outside this date to be confirmed. The pool is surrounded by an extensive patio with ample padded sun beds, parasols and pool toys.
The child's playground is housed in its own fenced area inside the gated pool area. This a one stop spot for families with children. Whether you are in the pool or relaxing on the sunbed you can watch the family in one safe gated place. Within the playground there is a large trampoline, swing set and little tikes play house. Outside the playground there is plenty of room to kick a ball around or play an outdoor activity. A perfect place for a holiday with family and friends. A home away from home with all the home comforts. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request

Summary: We had a lovely holiday and our hosts were very welcoming. The barn conversion was really nice, and the location was beautiful. It was cool inside and we could lounge on the sofas and look out at the lake. Or sit in the private garden area and have lunch with the shade over us. It was hotter upstairs but there were fans in each room and we had the windows open all the time and were not bothered by mosquitos. The supermarkets were a short drive away, in either direction, and the towns were good for a wander around. We visited the Chateau at Le Lude which was incredible, and the roman ruins just up the road. I worried that the road was close, but it was very quiet. The best thing for us was the pool, which we had to ourselves. It was big enough to keep two teenagers entertained every day for a week. It was 10m long so lots of races, underwater swimming and more.

Summary: We decided to do a different holiday this year than normal. We have previously gone for package holidays but this year as our 4 children are now growing up they wanted to do something different. This holiday was just prefect and Caroline could not have been more helpful. The location for what we wanted was perfect and the accommodation was exactly as described, if not better. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday combined with doing sight seeing then this is your place to be. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the host Caroline.

Summary: Our experience was 5 Star! The property is picture perfect and spotlessly clean. Boasting a beautiful lake, a swimming pool and a park that our kids loved! Perfect location for our day trips, we visited Le Mans and Versailles and many other historical places. We will for sure be back to stay. You have to see the Farmhouse yourself, the pictures don't do it justice! Highly recommend staying here, the owners are super nice too!

Summary: Booked a last minute holiday for my family when we arrived at the property we were amazed at the beautiful house pool and lake the house as excellent facilities with the owners thinking of everything.
