Negative: It’s located off a main road about a 3 min drive on a one lane road so at night I had a little challenge with it being so dark but I am old .

Positive: I loved the views from the room, the size of the room and bathroom and how clean everything was. The hosts were also very friendly and provided a kettle, coffee, tea, fresh fruits, biscuits, porridge to make in a cup and water etc. They also turned on the heating for me which was very nice.
Negative: My main issue was the mattress and I saw someone else mentioned this in a review earlier; I wish the host could have replaced it based on the previous review. I also feel that for the price of the room a small, a simple breakfast would have added a nice touch and wouldn’t have cost more than the snacks provided in the room. That being said it is an exceptional place to stay and the family is very friendly and accommodating.

Positive: Spacious and bright ensuite room with a giant comfortable bed Fantastic view of Croagh Patrick Fully blackout at nighttime with an amazing view of stars through ensuite skylight 6 minute drive to Westport main Street (very close to restaurants/pubs/bars - try the cobber & the towers!) Friendly hosts (including Lily the dog) who welcomed us warmly while balancing our privacy Dog friendly! Hosts made us feel so at ease on our first trip travelling with a young dog. Lily played outside with her and they didn't get upset with us when she barked in the middle of the first two nights Margaret has clearly taken feedback from previous guests on board as our room was equipped with a kettle/tea/coffee as well as a bowl of breakfast snacks which was much appreciated and a small television Our towels and sheets were changed halfway through the stay which was a nice touch
Negative: B&b isn't signposted so we missed turn first time and it's on a narrow country road which is difficult to reverse on but we got there in the end and the view is worth it! Toiletries were very limited. Seemed more like odds and ends from different gift sets/previous hotel stays as we had three open mini body lotions of different brands and no shampoo or shower gel. Would have preferred a standard supermarket bottle

Negative: It was very difficult to find and the road into the property was very narrow . If we had met someone going the other way we would have no where to go.
