Villa in ancient medieval village on the hills of Noli, with spectacular views over the bay and the island of Bergeggi. The garden, the pool and the porches are an outdoor area of โ€‹โ€‹fascinating and exceptional beauty. Ground floor: 2 large living rooms with fireplaces and a wood stove kitchen and 1 bathroom (sofa bed in one of the living rooms). First floor: Master bedroom, terrace and 1 bathroom. Second floor: (accessible by a spiral staircase, not suitable for people with walking difficulties) 2 bedrooms, one with sloping ceilings, small bathroom. Summary: Our party of 6 adults loved this villa. It comfortable, beautiful, quiet, private, with a spacious garden and patio showcasing expansive views of the valley below and the Mediterranean over Spotorno. Though the timing of our visit was just this side of the end of summer, one of us did take a dip in the gorgeous pool. I can imagine one would never leave the garden in the warm summer months. Renting a car to get here was necessary, though my husband and I love to walk and hike and found ourselves easily using the ancient paths and small roads to get to and from Noli, about 2 kilometers away. A series of trails meander the whole ridge and valley around the small towns here and offer intimate moments with nature or ruins in the middle of the coastal forest--also views into gardens, olive groves and other villas in the hills. Our hosts left us a very useful trail map which got us on our start exploring. Pasquale and Sergio met us at the property to check us in, and were very responsive afterwards to a few questions we had about house details. Most appreciated was Pasquale's offer of help making reservations at nearby restaurants. We had dinners at 2 area Michelin starred restaurants--my favorite (and Pasquale's recommendation) was Claudio in Bergeggi. Dining in at the villa was also made easy by the fully stocked kitchen and the lovely starter food welcome gift of olive oil, pesto, pasta and plum jam that our hosts left for us. ย We dined both inside the kitchen and grilled outside on the patio and took our breakfasts on the patio daily. By the way, don't bother getting coffee at the grocery on your way to the villa--there was plenty of it at the villa--the Nespresso and French press variety. I miss this place already--the flybys of birds, the tolling of the village church bells on the hour, the wind blowing through open windows. ย We are already thinking to bring our family back during warmer months so they can share in the specialness of this place.ย

Summary: We fell in love with this house as soon as we drove through the gates. There we were welcomed by the most caring and warm hosts, Sergio and Pasquale. At once they made us feel at home in their fantastic villa with a lovely garden, a beautiful pool area and an absolutely stunning view. There are several inviting spots for alfresco eating. The pictures do not give justice to this house and garden. It is much more fantastic in real life! Noli is an idyllic town and the beach is great. We had a wonderful stay in the villa and by the end of the week we did not want to leave. We highly recommend this property! Catarina

Summary: We hade a great week in Noli and the house is even better than in the pictures. Pasquale and Sergio were really friendly and accommodating and were the perfect hosts. The view is stunning and the facilities were great, including the pool. Only small downside is the upstairs bathroom that is quite small and with a really low ceiling but all in all a perfect spot. Noli is also a cute typical Italian town. Not too turistic and enough restaurants for a weeks stay. Ice cream and fresh bombolonis are to die for! Canโ€™t nothing but recommend this house for a perfect Italian vacation!

Summary: I should start saying that everyone in our group was trying to find an excuse to extend our vacation because of the area and the house. We were 6 adults and 2 children (aged 4 and 3) and we had a lovely time there. We made pizzas at the wood fire pizza oven, we had barbecues and dined everyday with a beatiful view of Spotorno with candle light. The beach in Noli is very good for children. About the house: The house was spotlessly clean. Our hosts, Pasquale and Sergio, were so nice and made us feel truly at home. Our first dinner was on them, as they offered us pasta from Napoli, pesto genovese and a prosecco. They were very attentive to details: shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, good towels and fresh linen, pool/beach towels, cleaning products, wood for the pizza oven, and instructions for possible emergencies around the house (which we thankfully didnยดt need to use). We even had acess to their garden of fresh herbs for our culinary adventures. The kids had a blast around the garden and the pool. They even helped us water the plants. I should say, however, that the stairs that lead to the rooms on the third floor are very steep, as they mention on the description of the house. My 4 year-old daughter had no problem going up and down, but itยดs something to mind if you have children. The other child in our party stayed on the second floor without any problems. Thereยดs also the sofa-bed option on the ground floor. Iยดd like to mention the outside shower. As it had hot water, it was the best choice to give the kids a bath when they left the pool (and with the best view). Thanks from all of us!

Summary: We had so much fun! Sergio and Pasquale were incredibly warm and welcoming. When we arrived they had a welcome basket for us with linguine, fresh pesto, a bottle of wonderful olive oil and olives picked from the olive grove underneath the house! The villa is gorgeous, both inside and outside. The garden is beautiful, with three large tables that can be used for eating "al fresco" using the outside grill and gas stove. We used them a lot to minimize the heat associated with cooking. The view from the garden and the swimming pool is wonderful: don't miss sunrise and sunset on the gulf. The house is very well kept, and a lot of attention was clearly paid to make sure that every need of the renter is fulfilled. This is not your typical rental properties. There is a free shuttle that takes you to town so there is no need to worry about parking by the sea. The water is so clear: make sure to make time for snorkeling. Noli is a gem. And don't forget to have dinner at the "Vescovado", a restaurant and hotel with breathtaking views and gourmet cuisine. We took long walks around the house and day trips to Genova, Savona, Montecarlo, and Altare, a small town with a beautiful museum of the glass that was once produced in town. A truly memorable vacation.

Summary: Villa Pantaloon is a place of enchantment with the most wonderful quality of life outdoors; it is calm and tranquil with a lovely swimming pool. just along the road is an incredibly convenient bus stop with a regular(free) Navette service up and down to Noli- great for eating out, beach life and the young to have a bit of freedom. The owners are utterly charming, considerate and helpful.(loving the homegrown olives etc ,thank you!) We loved our time here and highly recommend it to young and old alike.

Summary: The week we spent here was very nice, the House is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The property is near the beaches but we preferred to spend our time in the relaxing garden and swimming pool. The interiors of the House are in nineteenth-century style cared with attention to details. We had everything we needed, everything was clean and tidy. Many nights we had dinner on the terrace and we enjoyed the BBQ. The owners Sergio and Pasquale ,at the first experience in offering their home, they proved to be friendly, kind, and thay also was so helpful. We were so grateful for the welcoming gift (much appreciated). We would recommend this property to anyone looking for peace, relax and quiet. We hope to be back here again next year. Again many thanks to Sergio and Pasquale.
