In an 18th century building, the family-run Faythe Guest house is built on the grounds of a former castle. Offering rooms with private bathrooms, the Faythe provides delicious breakfasts. Positive: The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly — we instantly felt relaxed and at home. The space was warm, clean, and inviting, and we were given very helpful information on arrival about breakfast options, local attractions, and directions to the town centre. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless, with lovely complimentary toiletries. The beds were very comfortable, and having tea and coffee available in the rooms was a great touch. Easy free parking was also a big plus.

Negative: Nothing — everything was excellent.

Summary: Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a well-looked-after guesthouse with great owners 10/10.
