It offers complete peace and tranquillity and has all the comforts of home. It’s perfect if you want a semi working holiday or just want to get away from it all. Renvyle House Hotel is only 2.6 miles away and was once the home of Oliver St John Gogarty the famous poet. The village is a short 3 mile drive. Walking, Sea and Lake fishing, Horse Riding, Golf Bike Hire are all within the area.
Inside: This property is finished to a very high spec with oak floors, granite work tops and all the mod cons of any family home. Stunning views from all the windows and alfresco dining area to beat all outside dining.
Fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons including American style fridge, coffee maker, dishwasher & large gas range cooker. It also has a small dining table perfect for breakfast or lunch. Off the kitchen is a large bright dining room with high ceilings & stunning views of the Atlantic. There are 4 bedrooms,two upstairs which are king size, ensuite and extremely spacious. Both have sea views through velux windows. Downstairs one king size bedroom which is ensuite and One single bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons which opens onto dining room with high wooden ceilings with sea views. Cosy sitting room with wood burner. This property comes highly recommended.

Summary: Amazing property with amazing views - nice and remote and the owners are lovely. The local water is brown so takes a little getting used to but its natural and very soft (i.e. not hard). Its position allows it to have amazing views which also exposes it to the weather however the garden is beautifully kept and the inside is very comfortable.

Summary: Being greeted by the owner was great and helpful. The house was located in a wonderful position overlooking the beach and Atlantic. Inside the house was spotless and contained all facilities necessary to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We had a lovely week despite the weather. We will return

Summary: Fantastic location, beautifully furnished, warm welcome from hosts, amazing view and small Stony beach 5 minutes walk. Great base for exploring the interesting sights nearby- Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, Killary Harbour, wonderful beaches of Renvyle peninsula, numerous good eating options and lots of interesting walks and drives nearby.

Summary: Had a wonderful staycation at 254 Cashleen. Loved the house and the area, just what we were looking for, so peaceful and quiet but yet just a short drive away from many amenities and the most beautiful scenery that Connemara has to offer. The house is beautifully maintained both inside and out, clearly a lot of work is put into keeping the house and grounds maintained by both P J and Veronica. During our stay we had no issues so had no need to make contact with the owners but we knew if needed they were but a phone call away. The only downside was having to leave and go home!!!

Summary: Amazing location with 270 degree ocean views and beautiful countryside too Near to a lot of nice beaches including Tully Pier ( great for pier jumping teenagers and kayaking etc) 5 star accomodation with incredible sea views in the upstairs bedrooms and all mod cons . big airy dining room and cosy sitting room with wood burner too (Given our post covid times and restrictions ,some of the usual kitchen items may not be there ( chopping boards etc) so if you like to cook , just check ahead as to what you might need to bring. All in all a fabulous week-thanks to our very nice hosts, Veronica and PJ.
