Summary: We stayed at this darling chalet in Isenthal for 3 nights. The views all around this place are breathtaking. Tucked in a beautiful valley in the Swiss Alps with the sound of rushing water makes it feel surreal. The house was cozy and SO clean. Marie had fresh baked bread there for our party of 9 and was waiting upon our arrival to show us every detail of the home. This house is just a few miles from Isenthal. It can be a bit tricky to find so arrive before dark. Go through town past the church and the hotel, continue on for a couple of miles until you see a wooden bridge over the stream on your left - there is a mailbox there. You cannot see the house from the road. Cross the bridge and go up the driveway to the house. Thank for an amazing stay!

Summary: The house is located in a beautiful valley outside Isenthal. The road getting up there and through the village is very small and if you are in a van, it's a tight fit. Pay attention to the sign at the bottom - It has the timings for the bus. You will not be able to fit around the bus and will be stuck. The house is two separate apartments that connect via outdoor stairs and both are pretty spacious. The creek at the bottom of the hill was great fun for the kids. You could easily spend a week in the valley hiking aeound and never be bored. The owners were very nice and helpful. I would stay there again even though it is a bit of a trip getting down the mountain and actually accessing the highway. It's adds a bit of time to any day trips you want to do, but it is absolutely beautiful up there.
