On beautiful summer days you can set the breakfast table outside and plan the day with fresh rolls and jam: Should you go straight to the sea without detours, or is there another interesting day trip on the agenda? Or look forward to a wellness day for a change: the holiday park has a large sauna area with a heated indoor pool (for a fee). Of course you can also splash around in the large outdoor pool (for a fee) and have a cocktail mixed at the bar. In the area there are some shops for daily needs and restaurants as well as a snack bar on the beach. Hohe Düne is a district of Rostock and a state-approved Baltic Sea resort. The place got its name from the dune, which used to be about a kilometer east of the mouth of the Warnow.
