Summary: A friendly welcome and helpful guidance started our great stay. Located conveniently for many surrounding excursions and experiences in the Black Forest, the property is in excellent and clean condition, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Comfy beds, spacious rooms and relaxing. The property owners were attentive and very helpful, we enjoyed practicing our Deutsch and learning about the surrounding area. We will definitely return, Vielen Danke!

Summary: We stayed here in this lovely apartment for four nights so we could visit the Black Forest. The apartment is in a lovely small village called Ulm and it is really well equipped for a self-catering holiday. There are many nice resturants in the town including the one linked to the local brewery, also lots of nice supermarkets selling local products. The apartment is above the owners house and although they did not speak much English and we no German they were so friendly and we were able to understand each other, they had provided really comprehensive information in the apartment in English. The apartment has a lovely balcony so you can sit and look at the Black Forest in the morning or as we did each evening with our G&T. We were able to park our car with ease and safety which was important to us We visited Baden Baden and Freiburg very easily and will certainly return to explore more. The only note is the apartment is oppositee the local church which has bells that chime on the hour - this may keep some people awake but it is easily solved if you close the windows! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us, thank you for the cake and the surprise breakfast for the first morning much appreciated. Karen and Keith
