Positive: Comfortable bed and nice breakfast

Negative: The WHOLE of the village was being dug up for a new waste water system. A good thing for the village, however most of the roads had ‘closed’ signs so we had to work out where to go. It would have been nice to have some warning about this in advance, and details of how to get to property. Even a small discount or bottle of wine would have been appreciated. Our host said nothing at all about it. Diggers started at 6.15 in the morning!!

Positive: The location of the accommodation is beautiful, in the evenings we sat on the porch and enjoyed the views overlooking the Saguenay Fjord, it's so peaceful and the village of Sainte Rose du Nord is delightful. Frederick the host was very welcoming and friendly and provided us with breakfast. The apartment was great, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and a lovely rolled top bath and shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. It's the nicest apartment we have stayed in along the Fjord, I'd highly recommend it.
