A private, gated community located in beautiful Canaan Valley. You have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake in Timberline to canoe and fish at (swimming prohibited by the HOA) and access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.
You will be staying in a private, gated community. Please have a list of everyone that will be staying in the house (first & last names) and vehicle information. A guard house form will be given to you at check-in for you to put the information on that you will give to the guards.

Summary: This property was an excellent location to explore the Dolly Sods and Canaan Valley area. We had an issue with the microwave which was addressed immediately. The hot tub after a day of hiking was perfect!

Summary: This property is gorgeous and has a wonderful backyard complete with a rock wall and stream. My son meditated in the backyard, and you can access the chimera while enjoying a soak in the hot tub. The grill is awesome. The team was great, really Covid friendly and clear.

Summary: We had an amazing time! A small group of friends (6) went for my husband’s 30th birthday. With all the craziness of the pandemic we all needed a relaxing getaway! The house is beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. The beds were super comfy and the hot tub was wonderful to relax and look at the stars at night. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend and will definitely be back to Fern Brook in the future!

Summary: Our family really enjoyed our stay. The property had plenty of room for us, was very well appointed, had all the desired housewares, was very clean, and the location was perfect for us. The screened in porch dining area was perfect for relaxed dinners and enjoying the cool evening air. While we had only one pretty limited interaction with your staff, it was efficient, professional and cordial.

Summary: The downstairs family room/bedroom was a huge benefit for us as it allowed all the kids to sleep/play while allowing some quieter time upstairs for the adults. Trickier due to current conditions.

Summary: Our group had a very nice weekend stay. The house was in great condition and very comfortable for our group. We enjoyed spending time at the house and hiking in Dolly Sods. Staff members were very friendly and very responsive to our questions and requests. The team members were very responsive to questions and requests via email, both before and during our stay. They were also very friendly during check-in and check-out.
