1 Bedroom Cottage in Indian Brook

Perfect vacation cottage to accommodate two adults or small family (sleeps up to 3 people). The spacious upstairs has a comfy queen size bed, roomy closet, sitting area, dresser and view of the gardens. Downstairs is the 3 piece bathroom, with hair dryer, shampoo, etc. The kitchen has a oven, 4 burner stove top, full size fridge with a freezer, micro wave, plates, cutlery, etc. All linens, dishes, tea, coffee, etc are supplied.
The living - dining room area has a dining table, sofa, fireplace, and comfy chairs. The BBQ sits just outside the screened in porch. Great place for morning coffee and listening to bird song. Our 70 acre property gives you access to back country wilderness area with virgin hemlock and pine forest to explore. A 10 minute walk takes you to a cobbled beach for more 'ah' moments, bird watching and for the very hardy -swimming. We are located on the Cabot Trail. A 45 minute drive in either direction takes you too two world class golf courses. We are 30 minutes from the Gaelic College in St. Ann's and 45 minutes from the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck.

Summary: We enjoyed our week at The Fieldstone Garden Guest House, recapturing our past experiences of the Cabot Trail some thirty years before. Marion and John were excellent hosts and were most helpful from food recommendations— fresh mussels and lobsters as well as the Clucking Hen—to booking cruises or anything else that struck our fancy! They made us feel like family.💞

Summary: A very convienient place to stay for touring Cape Breton. Accommodation was well presented and very clean. Marion gave great suggestions of places to visit.

Summary: We just spent 4 lovely weeks at Fieldstone Garden. The guest home was a perfect "home away from home" for my husband and myself and our small dog. You won't find more thoughtful people on the planet than the owners, Marion and John, who were always on hand with helpful suggestions, answers to our questions, or offerings from their bountiful garden. We loved the beauty, the culture and the people of Cape Breton, and hope to return someday soon.

Summary: This was a wonderful stay for us. In a great spot for sight seeing and other activities. The house was so comfortable, clean, containing everything you would need (and more) for an excellent stay. The garden and surroundings were lovely a perfect quiet spot. Marion & John provided us with lots of information and were such a lovely friendly couple. We would definitely recommend to all our friends.
