Positive: Its perfectly placed to explore Ripon and surrounding areas. The cottage is small but well equipped. A good shower, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and lovely hosts.

Positive: Small but perfectly formed, 10 minutes walk to ripon , parking right outside on the road. Comfy bed ,warm and cosy. Very friendly hosts

Negative: Could do with been a bit more private , as its in the garden of the hosts house maybe by putting trellis up.

Positive: It is a small but perfectly formed cottage, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, great location within 10 minutes walk of Ripon centre. Most things in the property seemed quite new, it was well decorated throughout, the underfloor heating worked well. The welcome pack of milk, fruit loaf, brownies, home made jam and of course fresh figs (figgy cottage 🤣)which were superb and were greatly appreciated. Overall we could not find any major issues and we would definitely use Figgy Cottage if we were in he Ripon / North Yorks area

Negative: Whilst it suited us as a couple anyone less able might have a problem with the layout, having a downstairs bathroom and toilet. I do have a moan with Sykes who manage this property on behalf of the owners, I have received 18 emails regarding this booking….this needs sorting between Sykes & Booking.Com……I would expect 3 or 4 to be sufficient.
