Positive: The rooms were a little dated. When I first arrived, it didn't look like the floors had been swept in a long time but to be fair I was in a smoking room and I'm sure they probably don't have much call for those rooms. I just went and got a broom and swept them myself. I enjoyed the fact that I was at the very end. It was very private, peaceful, and quiet.
Negative: I had originally booked my stay for 3 days and payed for it, $220. I asked to extend my stay for one more night, Monday and it cost me $75. I never once requested maid service, I swept my room myself, I cleaned the air filters in the A/C unit with soap water and a toothbrush, I only once requested 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths. I am the perfect guest. I even took out all my own trash. They could have cut me a break.

Positive: Nicely located in St. James, close to gas stations, food and the dollar general. Not a bunch of people.
Negative: Bath tub faucet dripped. Heat was shut off when we arrived, took several hours to warm up. Smelled musty upon arrival. Not the most comfortable bed, but worked for a night.
Summary: Worked to stay out of the weather for a night.

Negative: Highway noise a little loud, staff not the most accommodating, I really needed a late check out because I had worked a night shift and was working the next night. Hoping for a 1300 vs 1100 checkout, but a no go.

Negative: It is located very close to the highway and a few times in the night the semi noise woke us!
