Plan your next peaceful vacation at this cottage sitting right on Bald Eagle Creek. Very secluded, but not far from town. Only 30 minutes from State College (Penn State football) and half an hour from Williamsport (Little League World Series)!
Perfect for a getaway with your favorite furry friend, this property also boasts access to the 5,900-acre Bald Eagle State Park! Here you can enjoy breathtaking nature walks, bird watching at the nearby Nature Inn, and make use of the kayaks, canoe, and boat ramp.
There is easy access to public restrooms, slides and swings in the park, making it easy for an all-day excursion.
Living room, full bathroom, loft bedroom, kitchen, dining area and outside upper deck.
There is a microwave in the cupboard by the fridge. The toaster oven is available for baking needs.
Property is on the 2nd floor, accessed by side steps. Overlooks fishable river.

Summary: House was near end of road right at waters edge so it was a nice view and in a quiet location. Not far from town. Would take our own kayaks and gear next time.

Summary: We stayed here for a competition our kids were in at Lock Haven University, and it was amazing to be so close to the university but also to feel like we were on a vacation right at the house! As soon as the kids walked in they decided they wanted to live there forever. It is a tiny cabin, but has lots of fun outdoor spaces, so much charm, and just felt so cozy. Just know the cooking spaces are limited (no oven or dishwasher), but we used the toaster oven and microwave and it was fine. The weather was even nice enough to take the kayaks out a couple of times, which was so relaxing. We would love to come here again for a weekend getaway with the family!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cabin. Our kids had a blast cooling off in the creek and playing on the tree swing. The property was clean with a beautiful view. The trip was very relaxing and I'm sure we'll be returning in the future.

Summary: This cottage was exactly as described and exactly what we needed! With a beautiful stream in front and gorgeous views from both the deck and the cement pier in front and a very cozy, rustic studio cottage this was the perfect place to relax. The owner was very responsive to all our questions throughout the process, from booking to checkout. I would highly recommend the wonderfully serene and quiet getaway.

Summary: Overall the property was nice and clean with a wonderful view with the property overlooking the waterway and golf course directly across. Nice rustic decor with all the comforts of home away from home. The only area I would improve would be the cleanliness and upkeep of the upstairs patio. It is spring and of course you will have tree debris but there were more than expected insect webs along the railing that appeared to have been there for some time. Looks like the cleaning crew has an opportunity to improve or wipe down/ clean that area. But overall this property met expectations and had a great time. Definately a property worth seeing and enjoying.

Summary: This place was awesome I would definitely recommend it anyone looking to stay in a cozy cabin by the water. There are plenty of places to hang out around the property. Great views from the wrap around deck. If it rains you can still be outside at the sitting area underneath the cabin. We are used to camping so the lack of wifi and TV's did not bother us. There is also plenty to do with a decent sized yard (bring yard games), two kayaks, canoe, fishing (bring pole), fire pit, etc. Best of all we were able to have our dog come along. 10 out of 10.

Summary: Everything was ok, except that we were lucky to arrive on our first day to a severe cold weather advise and having frozen pipes, no toilet water and no shower, but we understand that’s nobody’s fault and looks like local people aren’t really welcoming, so in case we ever go back, we’re doing our best to take everything we need so we don’t have to go out for any reason. Other than that, it has been a good experience and some really nice view.
