Alsea Shores is the perfect getaway...whether you're looking to hook a fish, dig for clams, fill your crab pot full of yummy crab or just hang out. This fun and inspirational 2 bedroom, 4 bath home that sleeps up to 8 will have you in the mood to take on the outdoors and catch your next meal. There are wonderful views of the Alsea Bay Bridge from multiple rooms in the house. Located in the heart of Waldport, Alsea Shores has a huge fully fenced front yard and is perfect for kids and dogs to romp and play in.
The large open concept first floor is sunny and bright with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their time together. The large dining room table is a perfect place to gather and feast on your favorite meal - even the catch of the day! On those nights where a storm rolls in, the living room is equipped with a wood stove to keep you warm and toasty. Two spacious bedrooms are upstairs with a bath located between the two. Both have king beds that can be split into two twins, and both have a built-in twin bed. The primary bedroom has a balcony to step out on and appreciate the Alsea Bay Bridge view. It also has some added privacy with its own half bath. Enjoy more views of the bridge from the other bedroom as well.
The hang out destination will be your very own gameroom where you can play cards, edge up to the refreshing home bar where you can stock the kitchenette with your favorite beverages, play in some foosball competitions, or catch a favorite sporting event and watch some favorite movies. This is the perfect hang out for the gang! Ready to enjoy some beach time? Just follow the short path from the front yard to the beach on the Alsea Bay. Ready to relax? Fishing the Alsea Bay and River makes fishing from the shore, a dock or a boat fun for the whole family. Crabbing and Clamming is among the best in the state and the Port of Alsea allows for crabbing from its docks! Summary: We had the most amazing time and loved how secluded this felt, yet close to everything at the same time. My kids loved the game room and we went down to the beach numerous times. Thr horse was nicely stocked with some thoughtful touches. Will be back!

Summary: Overall stay was ok. There were a several issues that would prevent us from recommending this place. There were ant traps all over in the kitchen. We soon found out why…regular ants (not sugar ants) crawling everywhere in the house…kitchen counters, bathrooms, bedrooms on bedding and clothes! Reported to the property manager and sent pics. Response was would let maintenance know and that ants are common pest on the coast. Found a whole on the outside of house under a window that seemed to be their entrance point! Next issue was the dog hair all over the bedding in the ‘pet friendly’ bedroom. Reported as well and said would address with house keeping. There was so much on one of the twin beds that we could not use it. There was no hair dryer so bring your own!! Not ideal for three women with long hair that takes a while to dry natural. Dishes were not clean in drawers or cupboards so we washed as we used. Hot tub was not hot..kept giving an error and going to 97 degrees. The TVs in upstairs bedrooms were not usable due to not being hooked to internet. Very slim choices on TV downstairs. You need to have your own logins for the various sources. No shades or curtains on bathroom windows. The positive was easy access to the beach, comfortable furniture and beds. It was walking distance to the grocery store. We will definitely book only premier hosts moving forward.

Summary: Loved the home. The garage was very useful. It rained all week while we were there so, it was nice to have a space to peel off rain gear & dry out before going inside. Great location! Close to the grocery store & the beach is right out the back gate! Loved the fenced yard for the pups! Thank you for having us.

Summary: Check in process was horrible. We were given the wrong code and it took a while to get a hold of someone. The wifi was intermittent and constantly had to be reset. The location and place were very nice, but a bit spendy for November.

Summary: We were two couples and two dogs who thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although I initially wanted a house on the beach, this was so much better since the wind was much calmer along the river. The fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. The house itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a great getaway. We will definitely stay here again.
