Comfortable three bedroom home, with great scenic views over lake and hills. Modern fully fitted kitchen with full oven and 2 x fridge/freezer, open plan kitchen/lounge/dining. Kitchen has full facilities (oven/microwave/dishwasher). Lounge has TV with DVD player, Wifi and smart TV. Large deck area with outside table, chairs and gas BBQ. 2 kayaks available to use. Games, books, cards and puzzles available. Main bedroom has King bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 x bunks (sleeps 4) and 3rd bed has 1 x queen - sleeping 8 in total. Only duvets, blankets and pillows supplied - Bring your own linen, sheets, pillow cases and towels please. Plenty of parking for cars. Cell phone coverage.
Few minutes in car to Boat Shed Bay or Stoney Point to launch your boat, or walk 100m across the road and you are at the lake side.
Enjoy the peace and quiet, the birdsong or try your hand at fishing in Lake Tarawera (fishing licence required). Use this peaceful location as a base for the many activities Rotorua has to offer.
Available during peak season to rent. Families preferred. Max 8 people. (Sorry, not suitable for large groups of adults.)

Summary: Fantastic! Loved the batch fabulous view of the lake from the large deck, kitchen had everything that we needed with lots of little extras that you don't normally get in short term rentals. Communication and information about the batch and local amenities was excellent. Fantastic to be provided with a rubbish bag for free rubbish disposal at the near by transfer station. Good layout and plenty of room for a family of 5 adults

Summary: This was our 2nd time staying in Sally’s lovely Bach. It is clean, comfortable, with everything you need. The view is beautiful. There is plenty of outside space for cars and boats. A lovely big deck for socialising outside. Near the boat ramp. On a lovely quiet street. The beds are very comfortable too which is so lovely when wanting to really recuperate after a busy year and Xmas season. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Three generations of our family gathered at Tarawera for six days. The weather was excellent . Xmas lunch was a picnic at the reserve. This house is extremely well equiped with all cleaning products and consumables.Sally [owner] was very good to deal with and hopefully she would let us have her house again if we repeat.

Summary: We had a lovely stay for a long weekend as we were attending a wedding at The Black Barn. The house was perfect for this as it was super close to the venue. The house was tidy, lots of room, and felt very homey. We had everything we needed. Such a beautiful spot, and our toddler loved spending time at the house and the lake. Check in and communication with Sally and Bruce was super easy. Would definitely recommend for anybody after a nice peaceful weekend in this area ☺️
