Positive: The house was beautifully decorated, furnished and well equipped. Spotlessly clean with lots of space and situated near to York centre. Village itself was lovely with pub serving good food a short walk away. All rooms were en-suite with powerful showers, large comfy beds. Can’t rate it highly enough, we loved it!

Positive: The property was beautiful, home from home, with everything there that you needed, the welcome pack was a lovely gesture as well left by Claire. The village was quiet, which was nice, but good in the fact that relaxing/chilled (with village pub just across the road serving lovely food) we had days out in York and Beverley. We are certainly going back......

Positive: Beautiful house and quiet neighbourhood with a quaint village style. The place was clean with adequate kitchen appliances and kit. The extra little treats and prosecco was a nice touch from the owner (thank you). Comfortable beds and 4 bathrooms with 3 en suites - real treasure find. The directions given by Claire were succinct and she was available for any queries via phone. Love the dog friendly nature of this place. Beautiful garden too and plenty of parking space. Would definitely book again! About a 20min drive to York centre.
Negative: Nothing! I would say that this property is more suitable for those with a car as public transport may not be as accessible although I'm sure the owners can clarify. Really lovely stay here - thank you! I clicked 10 out of 10 for stay but for some reason is coming up as 9/10. Definitely worth a 10!
