2 Bedroom Cabin in Deerwood

50 acre lakefront pristine isolated acres with great fishing, and you’re the ONLY hunters! Great bass &I pike fishing! Trails and tall trees with eagles, deer and critters. Fishing is great-catch big pike and bass; sport shops 5 miles away. We prefer no pets; write to ask because we have made exceptions and have had dogs. Fire pit, modern kitchen, beds + pull out couch; bathtub, private bath, and more! You will get away from it all and watch nice sunsets while the waves and loons lull you to sleep. Hear the loons call in the pine forest with a crystal clear lake; rowboat, 1/8 mile driveway. 50 acres of forest! We sleep two couples in each of 2 bedrooms, there is a fold out double bed in living room, and there are 2 futons in the cool basement common area/rec room. Kids LOVE it!

Summary: The place was extremely private when we went and weren’t bothered by anyone which was our goal. We used a provided paddle boat and caught several award winning size bass and it took us very little skill. The largest was at sunrise at the dock, believe that or not! The home had great hot water and was a little outdated but absolutely perfect for a cabin getaway. There were a few bugs but hello were in the woods on a lake house on the water. I loved it and the kids did also. I had some additional request and were approved without hesitation on check out time(amazing).

Summary: Wow, just wow! I want to start with people I interacted. The owner met us at the property and he is the nicest person in the World, I wish I meet more people like him in the day to day things. He welcomed and showed us the property, explained the location and things around, what can we do and so on. The property is clean and well stocked for anything you many need during your vacation. The view is amazing, the lake is amazing, very secluded and you feel isolated from the world which is great. The house itself is full of history which is another amazing experience we had. Now, what we didn't like- our vacation was too short and hope to come back next year! Mountain biking - 15 mins away, Lake, 30 seconds away, water activities - available close by as well. Want go shopping - a few towns close by as well Thank you very much for letting us stay at this place, we had amazing vacation thanks to you!

Summary: Please is clean and quiet. Lovely to hear the lions in the morning. You will want to bring bug spray and long sleeves as it’s very wooded.
