Cabin is small but clean on the very popular Birch Creek part of Lake Fork. Birch Creek has been well known for its big bass and for duck hunting. Cabin has 4 built-in single bunk beds, living and kitchen area and bath with shower. Outdoors there is a large covered porch, fishing pier and concrete boat ramp. For the duck hunter there is a covered storage area and a dog run for your retriever.
The property is furnished and includes furniture, linens, towels, kitchen appliances, dishes and silverware. The property does not include telephone or internet. There is a also a TV that plays DVD.
There is one RV hookup next to the cabin that can be rented along with the cabin for an extra fee. There is also an RV on the same property that we own that can be rented separately if you have a larger party.

Summary: We came here for a last minute fishing trip and we did just that! Majority of our time was spent on the dock and then took a break to sleep and eat. It was absolutely perfect. If we had a boat it would have been even better since there’s a boat ramp there. Overall a simple cabin but just enough!

Summary: Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Not enough pots/pans/utensils and I didn’t realize there was no oven. To have electricity at the dock would have been a huge benefit but overall I was happy.

Summary: My husband and I caught soo many fish just off the pier! That was the main purpose of our visit and had an amazing time in that aspect. However, the bunkbeds were wildly uncomfortable and I hardly slept while we there there. In addition, when went to go start a fire in the evening, we changed our minds quickly when we went outside it smelt like sewage which was very unpleasant.

Summary: The cabin was dark. The bulbs were needing to be replaced as there were several burned out. There was only bunk beds The sofa was old and so uncomfortable we could not sit on it. Our only choice was wood straight up and down, no cushion, very hard dining chair. The commode lid was so loose it would throw you off if you did not know in advance. The patio furniture rock and swivel chair broke at the base, where it had been repaired, my husband fell backwards when it broke and hit his head on a piece of wood instead of concrete. The boat ramp area has a ninety degree turn and very narrow you have to back your boat down. Also the stove in the kitchen was a two burner stove and only one burner worked.

Summary: Very cozy cabin. It had everything we needed. Loved the Lakeview and dock. The property was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.
