Positive: It was right on the beach, close to airport and the town. My girls loved the jumping pillow, trampoline and small play area, although couldn’t regularly use them due to the heavy rain.
Negative: The oven, hot water & the ANTS! We were in a cabin where there were some dead ants on the top bunks and a bottom bunk, we were immediately upgraded and this was great. The new cabin seemed perfect, aside from the oven taking about 1.5 hours to heat up. However on our second last day we arrived home to a kitchen swarming with ants - thousands of them. It was overwhelming. We didn’t have any spray or anything as the only cleaning product provided was dishwashing liquid. After using a wet tea towel and cloth to get rid of half of them I saw where they were coming from so used my daughter’s putty to seal the holes. They found more ways in but I kept sealing with putty. It had been raining the entire time and I know ants come out after rain but the cabins really need resealing On the last night our hot water was intermittent as well which wasn’t fun while trying to wash my hair or for my special needs daughter who stood in an ice cold shower for 2 mins before telling me it was cold. I was going to make reception aware of the massive ant problem and hot water issue at check out but we had to leave for our plane and they were closed.
Summary: Good location, friendly staff…. Cabins could do with an upgrade and resealing.
