Positive: The location is great, with access from the train station and very close to the gondola station, shops and restaurants. Also, the swimming pool and jacuzzi at the hotel were lovely (button for the jacuzzi is on the wall). The view of the lake from hotel was stunning and worth paying a bit extra for a room with a lake view.
Negative: We came at the end of August and a lot of the restaurants had already closed for the season. Everything was fine with the hotel.

Positive: Perfect location at the train station. Very friendly staff. Could drop off my luggage and explore Voss before check in. Nice historic interior, also in the room. Perfect view of the lake and the mountains. Very good breakfast.
Negative: Would not recommend dinner at the restaurant.

Positive: The location is great, very close to the train station. Its a cute little village, with a few nice cafe's and loads of activities involving spending time outdoors. The pool in the wellness room was lovely, even though it was a bit crowded. The breakfast was incredible, a total highlight, worth staying for for that alone
Negative: The sauna didn't work while we were there. Staff were notified, and they said it had been like that since yesterday. There is no info about the intention to fix it. The blond man who checked us in was quite short, didn't offer directions, and made us feel like we should already know the answer to our questions about the facility and how things worked, etc. Otherwise, we had a really lovely time, and i would stay here again.

Positive: Beautiful historic hotel - loved the feel of it, comfortable bed, loved the pool and jacuzzi, fantastic outside porch with comfortable furniture, nice bar, great breakfast and good location next to train and bus station. We loved our room (125) facing the lake vs train side and room was very large and had a small fridge. Also loved the smart toilet with vent, bidet and dryer - wow!! Never had that before. Staff was very friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel, just book the right room as some are small. We came on train from Bergen, dropped off luggage, bus to Gudvangen, Næroyfjord ferry to Flam, Flamsbana train to Myrdal then train back to Voss/ hotel. Great day seeing beautiful Norway.
Negative: We had dinner at the hotel and while the food was good, it is an extremely limited and pricey menu. We ate in town the next night.

Negative: A little old fashioned but it was in keeping with the feel of the hotel.
