Summary: Great hotel, one little item to consider - No conditioner in the bathroom

Summary: The hotel is as nice and location good. The check in staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately the ac wasn’t working so it was very hot (we weren’t told this until we asked) so had to sleep with windows open which is incredibly noisy not to mention when the bins get emptied early in the am!! Also the carpet looks very tired and dirty. Definitely wouldn’t walk barefoot. The gym could go with an upgrade too although it was quiet and fine for a short stay.

Summary: We truly appreciated the hotel's location—right in the heart of the city, with everything either within walking distance or just a short trip away. The staff at Flemings were exceptionally friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also had a great experience at the restaurant, where the food was delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. Areas for Improvement: Upon check-in, unless you had already reviewed the information on the Flemings website, you would only then learn that housekeeping services are provided every other night. This means that for a two-night stay, as in our case, the room remains unattended throughout. The hotel justifies this policy as an environmental initiative, but we find this explanation unconvincing—especially given that the level of service has diminished while room rates have remained unchanged. The bathroom includes a small mirror for shaving or applying makeup. However, in our room, this mirror was defective and unusable. We reported the issue to the front desk, but unfortunately, no action was taken. The key cards to our rooms (we had booked two for our family) were unreliable. Throughout our two-day stay, we repeatedly had to visit the front desk for reprogramming, as we were unable to access our rooms. The bathroom amenities were minimal, offering only soap and shampoo—of which the latter was empty. Guests may wish to bring their own toiletries to ensure a comfortable stay.
