Summary: Hotel was lovely. Staff fantastic and on the whole the room was great. My only issue at 6ft 4” was no shower and a bath under the slip of the ceiling. But that’s just a personal thing. This is the third time I’ve stayed and will be staying again.

Summary: Staff were so lovely and friendly and went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is in a lovely setting. Perfect place to stay after attending a wedding in the local area.

Summary: Great hotel with very friendly staff, especially the breakfast restaurant waitress who was fantastic and very helpful/ Would certainly stay here again

Summary: I stayed 15 years ago and it was then classed as a high end hotel and was really looking forward to a return stay this week on a solo business trip. Very disappointed with how low the standards had dropped. The room was cold, dated, poor shower pressure, restaurant ok but limited choice and expensive. There was no atmosphere or back ground music and it felt like a funeral wake. Back at the bathroom, there was mould on the fittings, a towel or similar stuffed into the gap in the toilet soil pipe, rotting skirting’s. Won’t be staying again anytime soon until it has been modernised and decorated
