Positive: The owner Reza is really lovely and speaks perfect English (with a British accent!). Tangkahan was a nice change from the much more touristy Bukit Lawang. We especially enjoyed our jungle tour, including tubing on the river, it was one of the most magical moments of our trip!! We also enjoyed mingling with locals and bathing at the nearby riverbank. You should definitely not miss out on this more remote part of the jungle!
