Positive: The cabin is cozy and well decorated, well equipped. The view is good.
Negative: Last few miles up to the cabin is indeed a rough drive, single lane with a lot potholes. One of my tire got punctured, couldn’t get it replaced anywhere.

Positive: Very nice and beautifully designed cabin. It's small but you don't feel it inside. It is equipped with everything you need in a self-catering apartment. The view from the windows is just gorgeous.
Negative: The tap in the kitchen became loose when we moved in. OK to use it, but it occasionally caused many splashes on the walls. The owners were away but they promised to fix it as soon as they return. Hopefully it's not an issue anymore. Location can be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on your plans. If you want to have a retreat and enjoy nature in a quiet place - it's the best place for it. But if you want to explore the Isle of Skye, the cabin is quite far away from most attractions, and you need additional time to drive on very narrow and tricky roads.
