Positive: Very beautiful in an absolutely gorgeous party of the world. We had chosen the Roya Valley because we wanted to walk parts of the GR 52A , which we did, in both directions room Saorge, and also north from Tende. Fantastic view from living room window. Very quiet.
Negative: Doona was too hot & there was no alternative bed covering.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this apartment for 12 nights. The recently renovated space was a delight, offering modern comforts and a fresh feel. The fully equipped kitchen was a standout feature, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the good location, which treated us to beautiful mountain views. The apartment's amenities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge with freezer, added convenience to our stay and made us feel right at home. Throughout our visit, communication with the host was efficient and helpful, enhancing our overall experience.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Negative: While our stay had positive aspects, there were several issues that significantly impacted our experience: Amenities and Supplies: The two dishwasher tablets provided were insufficient for our 12-night stay. We also found the toilet paper supply inadequate, with one partially used roll suggesting it was left from previous tenants. The quality of the toilet paper was noticeably low-grade. Wi-Fi and Entertainment: The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, requiring frequent reconnection. The TV was surprisingly small, limiting our entertainment options. Comfort: The living room sofa was uncomfortable, and the bed in the bedroom was too small for two adults to sleep comfortably. Cleanliness and Maintenance: Despite being asked to clean the apartment ourselves, we found spider webs on the ceiling and mold in the shower. Some light bulbs needed replacement. These issues suggest a need for more thorough cleaning and maintenance between guests. Kitchen Essentials: While kitchen essentials were promised, we found no salt and minimal quantities of other basics, which was inconvenient for our extended stay. We noticed that previous guests have reported similar issues. We strongly encourage addressing these concerns to improve the overall guest experience and prevent future negative feedback. Positive: Compact but very comfortable for a couple; very well appointed kitchen. A good base for seeing a part of Provence most tourists won’t get to, with some great hiking to be found in the surrounding countryside.
Negative: Nothing (but note that Saorge is quite remote and dining options are limited, particularly early in the week, so self-catering may be required - fortunately the kitchen is well up to the task).
Summary: We enjoyed our visit to this village well off the tourist trail.
