Summary: this place was perfect for our bachelor party boys weekend! waterfront dock, great industrial kitchen amenities, yard space, bonfire pit, kayaks, pool table, a great soundsytem, separate cabin for sleeping arrangement vs the main area, even had a little boutique golf course near by. what more could you want? Mike was an exceptional host who really went the extra mile to make sure we all had a great time. We will be back!

Summary: If you’re looking for Muskoka luxury - this is not it. But if you’re looking to truly getaway for some quiet lake time with family and friends - you’ve come to the right spot. It’s a true lodge experience on a beautiful lake surrounded by trees. Mike was the perfect host - accommodating and welcoming when you wanted/needed - but invisible when you wanted privacy. Spent a week with family aged 6 to 66 - something for everyone. Having the sleepover quarters in a separate building meant you could turn in for a quiet night and not be disturbed if others gathered to play pool and listen to music. We’ll be back.

Summary: I’ve been to a lot of cottages and this one tops them all. Never before has a host overdelivered like Mike did. We were able to use the commercial grade kitchen, bbq and smoker to make amazing meals. Use the movie theatre like TV, pool table and golden tee to keep ourselves entertained at night. Use the yard for lawn games and water for kayaking, canoeing & boating. The sleeping arrangements were exceptional, having a separate building entirely with multiple different air conditioned rooms consisting of king, queen double & singles. Overall amazing stay. We will be back!

Summary: The photos posted do not do the property justice. Mike has made the lodge feel incredibly cozy, in a very large and open space. Great for large groups! Even if it rains, there’s lots to do inside including a golf video game, many TV’s, Netflix and other movie channels available, board games. Not to mention, a giant dining room table, pool table, industrial kitchen and bar. Our group couldn’t get over the fact of how hands on and kind Mike and Victoria are. He took us on an amazing pontoon ride to check out all the waterways and took us cliff jumping. The fall colours were absolutely immaculate, and he catered to every one of our needs. Mike is a great host and is very quick to respond and I can truthfully say that no other renter has gone above and beyond the way he does at Hidden4est. Him and Victoria are just all around very cool and one of a kind people! Also, the separation of the rooms, how many bathrooms there are, and how comfy the beds are made you feel so at home. They are also heated/air conditioned. The kitchen comes fully stacked with cooking supplies, cutlery, etc., so packing is a breeze. I want to keep this place my little secret, but luckily were ready to join the Hidden4est family. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for having us, Mike !

Summary: This year we had our annual family reunion at Mike's cabin. There were 14 of us, from ages 4-75, and all had a great time. The cabin had lots of space for everyone, the beds were comfy, with five suites everyone had enough room, and the lake was lovely.

Summary: What an experience. Looking for a rental for a large group is not an easy task. When I found Hidden4est I thought- well, this looks great and it holds us all. 5 bedrooms, 6 baths- exactly what we need. After I booked, I finally read some reviews and my excitement about the cottage amped up a notch: the bedrooms are separate from the cottage and each room has its own bathroom!! Mike was able to switch the beds around in each room for each families different needs which was invaluable. The beds were extremely comfortable and all of us were shockingly delighted to have amazing sleeps each night we were there. There is the lodge which is spectacular with so many rooms but still close so everyone is still together but you can do what you want and have the space to do it. And then the industrial kitchen! Space and huge refrigerators and freezers and everything you need! Then we hit outside! Such a gorgeous view and beautiful lake. Seriously stunning. It’s at the end of the bay so doesn’t have boat traffic and all of us loved it. Hidden4est has everything you need and more. As for Mike- what a great host. You can see why he is a super host the minute you contact him. He replies quickly to questions and makes your stay as fantastic as it can be. He’s happy and charming and fun and so are Victoria and Hippie. They were all amazing to meet and we plan to see them again next summer 😃 Thanks for everything Hidden4est!!

Summary: The pictures don't do this property justice! We are a large group of 6 families and the lodge and separate building for sleeping couldn't have been more perfect for us! Our favourite parts...super comfy beds for everyone in our group, a huge kitchen with all the amenities you could need, tons of fridge and freezer space, an abundance of spots to gather and tons of seating indoors and out. Awesome waterfront with room for our boats, water trampoline and water toys! We are frequent renters and Mike is by far one of the best owner/operators I have dealt with. He was available to answer questions and made it his mission to make our week amazing! We are already booked for next summer! Highly recommend!

Summary: Common are layout was really good. Multiple tvs meant we could watch a movie while the young adults could play video games. Industrial kitchen was great with lots of fridge and freezer space. The separate bar fridge and coffee station was awesome. Appreciated the separate sleeping area for early sleepers allowed peace and quiet time and bedding and towels included. Lots of washrooms and Hot water :). 3 extra kayaks so more could go out together. Being at the end of the lake so less boat traffic.

Summary: I cannot stress it enough on how amazing the property and owner is. If your looking for a boys weekend, this is your place. Only 2.5 hours north of Barrie, it's the definition of a man cave. Huge property for any outdoor games you have planned, huge dock with massive fire pit beside. Commercial level kitchen with everything you need at your fingertips. Multiple tvs so everyone can wind down there own way, pool table and golf arcade machine. Seperate cabin rooms with full bathrooms. I cannot express the pride and effort mike puts into making it your perfect getaway. Willl be returning for sure!
